Blue's POV

"Mum," I shouted. "Hurry up, we need to go to Luca's mum."

"Blue calm yourself we're going in a few minutes okay, calm." She laughed at me.

"Don't laugh at me. What if he doesn't like his present mum, what am I gonna do?" I whined.

"Don't worry, I talked to Luce and I know he'll love it." Vi said.

"He better, you hear me." I threatened.

"He'll love it because it's from you okay, calm down." Vi told me.

"Okay, let's go now." I shouted running towards mums car. "Bi, hurry up and get in the goddamn car."

"Blue, stop shouting at your sister." Mum warned.

"But she's going so slow." I whined.

"For gods sake, act your age. You're 17 not 3. And Vi, hurry up."

"I'm in the car now." She laughed from the back seat.

"Okay, let's go. Drive. Drive. Drive."

"Music." Vi shouted and grabbed the aux cable. "Mmhm, what to put on."

"Vi, put in Hurts please?" I asked her.

"Fine, only because I love them as well. What song? Ahh mercy." She muttered before the familiar song played through the car.

M-E-R-C-Y." We sang along to the chorus.

"Amazing." Mum laughed as we drove towards Luca's.

Luca's POV

"Dad, what if he rejects me. I'll die." I cried into his arms.

"I had the same fear when I found out Kai was my mate, but he won't. That boy loves you so much and you're blind if you can't see it." He comforted me.

"I love him so much too dad. Sometimes I'm amazed by how lucky I am to have him and the rest of the time I'm in awe of him."

"I'm like that with your father. Everyday I wake up and see his face and I think what would I do without him? He is what keeps me sane, he makes me feel emotions that I thought I would never be able to feel and everyday my love for him grows and grows."

"I feel the same way as well." My dad, Kai, said when he was finished. "You've just got to take the plunge, tell him how you feel and ask him to be your mate. Oh also Seth, your mother called and apologised for her and your dad not being here for Luca's birthday, but that they'll be done if a few days." He was cut off when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." I shouted as I ran towards the door.

"Happy Birthday." Blue, Vi and Maryse cheered when they saw me.

"Thanks." I smiled and grabbed Blue before pulling him towards my chest.

Want mate. My wolf whined at me at the touch of him.

No. Later when it's his birthday.

Blue wrapped his arms around my torso and placed his head on my chest.

"I've missed you." He murmured into my chest.

"Me too. I've been wanting to kiss you all week it I haven't seen you."
