Loosing it All

Emma followed her dad and hook, along with Rose, while the others stayed home with Ducky.
"Emma I don't think you should have come." David whispered but Emma shrugged.
"Don't worry dad I can hold my own." She promised with a wry grin and David sighed.

David sighed he was getting nowhere with the Snow Queen, she just kept talking in riddles.
"Dad you could check out her ice cream truck." Emma offered and David looked surprised.
"The Snow Queen has an ice cream truck?" He asked and Emma grinned.

"I'm a kid I know these things." She explained with a smile and David grinned.
"Alright we will go check that out you just stay here and don't talk to the Snow Queen." David ordered as he, Rose and Killian shuffled out.

"Ugh that's so unfair! I try to be nice and give you a lead and all you can do is leave me here!" She complained sitting in her dad's chair with a huff.

"You know Emma you could always interrogate me."the Snow Queen offered and Emma turned seeing the woman leaning against the bars of the jail cell.
"No way you're just trying to escape." Emma accused and the snow queen put her hand on her chest in mock offense.

"I would never do such a thing." She whispered kindly and Emma frowned.
"Okay, let me just find the keys and my dad's handcuffs." Emma exclaimed as she raced into her dad's office.

Emma frowned when she saw her box of old things pushed up against the far wall.
"That's funny I swear these were just at home under my bed." Emma whispered as she began to dig through it. She pulled out her old video camera and smiled.

As she pressed play she froze.
"Ingrid smile at the camera!" Her seven year old self giggled happily as she put her arm around the Snow Queen and grinned.
"Hello camera." She whispered with a kind smile as Emma grabbed a stuffed animal.
"This is snowball, Ingrid gave him to me!"

The camera went blank and Emma sat confused on the floor. Why did she not remember the Snow Queen? She remembered all of her other foster and group homes, so why not her's. Emma shook her head as she grinned hatching an idea she ran into the interrogation room and sat the camera on a high shelf.

Emma then ran into her dad's office and wrote him a note.
Dad,
The Snow Queen knew me! She was my foster parent, there's proof on the video camera. So if I'm not in here its cause I'm going to be in interogaten (think that's how you spell it) with the Snow Queen! And I'm gonna record the whole thing on my old camera!

Emma smiled as she added the finishing touches to her letter then sat it on her dad's desk. Emma swiftly pulled out her dad's handcuffs and grabbed the keys as she made her way back to the Snow Queen.

David swiftly broke open the ice cream truck, as they began to look around Elsa(who had joined them) called David over.
"What is it?" He asked fearfully and she pointed to the locked freezer.

"Should we check it out?" Killian asked and David nodded looking towards Elsa.
"Think you can freeze the lock off?" He asked and Elsa nodded as she concentrated and David smacked the lock off.

"What?" David murmured as he pulled out a file that read
'Emma Swan' he opened it quickly and found tons of pictures and art work of Emma's. What hurt the most was the card Emma made for the Snow Queen.

Dear Ingrid,
You are the greatest mom ever, I love you a lot. I am giving you this card just because. You are the family I never had. Thank-you so much.

He felt tears brimming in his eyes when Elsa reached back into the freezer and pulled out some Arendelle looking scrolls. Rose,David and Killian watched as she read them, looking horrified.
"Emma." She whispered and David frowned.
"What?" He asked and she looked up fearfully.

"The Snow Queen got caught on purpose." She whispered and Rose frowned looking confused.
"Why would she do that?" Rose asked and Elsa gulped looking stricken.
"Because she was after Emma."
