Birthday

      Well, Today is my birthday. The best day of a 11 year old life you might say. Well not for me. This year has been a total nightmare! At least is a Saturday and Sally is coming over to celebrate my birthday with cake and pizza. We always have fun on my birthday but today I'm not feeling it........ Ding dong.
       "Hope it's for you" mom yelled
      "Coming" I said and quickly checked the mirror and ran to the door.
     "Happy birthday!!!!" Sally screamed as she shoved a wrapped present in my face. I looked over at mom and she gave me a nod that told me that I should open the gift now. I opened it to find 2 notebooks. One labeled diary and the other just a composition notebook. I hugged her and we both ran to the table to eat pizza. After pizza we sang Happy birthday and are cake.
       "What are you gonna write on your diary?" Sally asked my when we went into my room to talk before she had to leave.
      "I don't know-" I started when mom busted into my room with all my siblings to give me their big family gift. I opened the gift to find an iPhone and a floral print case!
     " OMG, you got a phone, here let me give you my phone number!" Sally screamed. She gave me her number and let me try calling, texting, and Facetiming her. She told me some good apps to get and them she went home.
     "Use the phone wisely" mom said and sent me up to bed so I wouldn't wake the baby. I got in my pajamas and decided to watch YouTube for a little before I went to bed. After a few minutes I got tired and plugged my phone in and went to bed.
     The next morning I woke up to pancakes in bed! I knew we were going to the zoo today. Claire got me a sunhat and after k took a shower and got ready we were all in the car ready to go to the zoo. I realized that the last time I went to the zoo was with Amanda and then I got sad. I pulled put my phone and sent a text you Sally. She didn't respond. So I asked my sisters for their phone numbers so I would have more contacts and not look like a loner with only a friend as her contact, well and my parents. We got to the zoo and mom showed me how to take pictures, but I already knew that.
     We got passes and went into the zoo, I took a selfie with Summer and Claire. We went to all the animals and even played around for a while. Mom also bought me a gorilla stuffed animal and a T-shirt. And Summer got a big thing of candy she is going to share with me. This trip made me forget about Amanda, but not for long when we visited the tigers, those were her favorite. We looked at them and I started tearing up. Then Brian came up and called me a crybaby then walked away. I held my stuffed animal and Claire hugged me and told me it was alright. I just wanted to cry... All alone and by myself.
