Mayas point of view

Ive have not even been here for a full day and I already dislike this school. Yeah Riley is my best friend but that not far why do i have to move now . Why am I the one that had to move why did have to this big change. Okay yes my dad officially left but we didn't need him. My mom and I were great on our own , we could've made it fine without him. No I have to move into this little old apartment that barely has a view or even water that works and is clean. Even worse I have to go to a new school where Riley is extremely popular which means I have to live up to there standards and where I am going to be away from my boyfriend Josh.

I miss Josh so much. Now he has to drive a few hours away to come see me.

So today's my first day of school and I'm already running late. Great that's the last thing I needed. I missed the dam subway.

Few minutes later
Okay finally on the subway great. Now I just need to get off grab my class schedule and try to look for Riley.

I made it up to the front of the school perfectly fine.Huh I wasn't actually late the bell had barely rung and students were making their way to the classes.As soon as I turned around boom I was on the floor and all my things were everywhere.

"Oh crapp , I'm sorry miss" a tall cute boy brown eyed boy said. He gave me his hand to lift my self up and helped me gather my books.

"No I'm sorry it's my fault I should've watched where I was going" I responded nervously.

"Hi my name is Lucas. Lucas Friar. I moved her from Texas just a year ago, and I'm guessing you're new too because I would remember seeing that beautiful face of yours." He explained.

"Umm yeah it's my first day here" , my face was extra red. He was so cute. Calm down Maya you have a boyfriend for crying out loud.

"So are you lost ?",he asked.

"Umm yeah can you take me to the main office to get my schedule", I asked him politely. I grabbed my bag and led me to the main office.

"Ahh we have History , chemistry and math together ! Come on I'll walk you to your classes later lets get to Mr. Mathews class first?"

"Mr. Mathews as in Riley Mathews dad ?" I was now feeling calm about my first day.

"Yeah that one . how do you know Riley ?"he asked.

"She's my best friend huckleberry  , and her dad is practically my dad." I explained.

"Oh sorry you're the famous Maya hart and huckleberry?".

"Yeah , you seem like a huckleberry". I said smiling.

"Finally nice for you to join us Mr. Friar!"

"Sorry sir , I was helping out Maya " he said walking towards his desk.

"PEACHES"! I heard from a tall brunette. I finally realized that it was my little weirdo Riley .

"Hey mr. Mathews , so we're do I sit?" I asked politely . He was very surprised .

"Go ahead sit next to Riley, btw welcome and I hope you have a good day ".
