Chapter 7

"So who did you go on a date with riles?" I asked her waiting for my heart to drop.

"I went out with Lu....." Her mom called her from down stairs.

"I'll be right back Maya let me just see what my mom wants" she ran down the stairs.

Fuck it probably was Lucas who she went  out on that date with then my heart dropped. Why was I so upset. I was with josh I had him , am I really jealous about the fact that my best friend went out with huckleberry?

Riley came up the stairs and jumped on her bed.
"Maya I'm back" she grabbed her phone and faces the camera back on herself.

"So who did you go on a date with then Riles?"

Oh yeah , so the person I went out with was Luke.

"Riles who the hell is Luke ?" I wrinkled my forehead.

I meet him at Topangas. I was doing my homework and some idiot dropped his coffee so I slipped on my way to the restroom but he caught me before I almost banged my head on the wall.

I couldn't stop laughing. I busted out so loud Riley just rolled her eyes.

"Riley only you could possibly do that. You're so dam clumsy." I started laughing even more.

Thats so cute it looks like if Riley was really in love. She was acting clumsy and goofy. More than usual and thats a big deal especially considering the fact that Riley is always clumsy and goofy when she's being herself. I question to why i down feel that way when I'm with Josh. I mean don't I love him? Isn't he the love of my life. Im still angry at the fact that he had the balls to fuck cheat on my and that it hurt. I mean Im Maya Hart I'm used to being used and forgotten but the fact that Josh did it is what hurts the most.

I hung up on Riley and began to get ready for bed since they day went by really fast and I actually spent a long time talking to Riley. I didn't even bother trying to do my homework ill just try and see if Riley would allow me to copy the homework assignment in the morning.

I called Josh and he wouldn't answer. I wasn't worried i trusted him. Well i short of trusted him. But honestly at this point i don't even care. The relationship doesn't seem as important as it was before. Im not even angry to the fact that he didn't call back , i did wonder were he might have been ehh I'm tired and i don't have the energy to be complaining or looking for his annoying ass. He is a big boy now he should be able to be responsible enough to be able to take care of himself.

My phone buzzed it was Lucas. Huh what does he want is he hear to brag about his new girlfriend or the fact that he saw me with Josh. He is probably going to tell me how dumb i am to be with him and that he is a jerk or something along those lines.

I opened the text message.

" whats the pages for the history study guide?" - Lucas.

hmm I guess he doesn't care at all then. I over think way to much. Why would he even ask me I barley even to my homework plus my bag is all the way downstairs in the living room I am in no way trying to go downstairs.

"Text Riley she would know" I sent the text. He never texted back. I went on Instagram and checked my feed. Typical Josh was at a party. He looks drunk and he is surrounded by slutty girls. Wtf I'm pissed my dumbass actually thought he cared about me wtf is wrong with me he only cares about himself. Calm down Maya they're just posing. I calmed Myself.

I was perfectly calm until I got the idea to check on the photos that he was being tagged in. I scrolled through the photos and i found a photo where he was being kissed by a blonde. They I kept scrolling down and some had posted a video where he was making out with a brunette and she was sitting on his lap grinding he hips in circles.

I felt my face heat up and tears were going down on my face. I was red and i couldn't breathe. How could he cheat on my again. Wasn't it enough for him to do it once. No forgiveness this time he can go fuck himself. I went into the restroom and but on some sweats and went for a walk in the park. I was sitting on the swings by myself swinging back and forth. I got a goodnight text from Rileys but i was to upset to answer.

She probably thought that i was already asleep. But no i was swinging on the swing balling my eyes out. Josh finally called me back.

"Maya whats wrong? Why did you call me?"

I didn't know i had to have a reason to call you Josh! But I promise to never call you back again.

"Maya what are you talking about are you crying i can't understand you!"

You know what Josh i hate you don't call me. I never want to see you again, have fun with those sluts. Oh and one more thing GO FUCK YOURSELF. I hate you!

I hung up and i began to cry even hard how can he do this to me. I walked back to my house it was about 11pm. My mom just had gotten home from work. He could she i was in tears.

" Whats wrong baby girl?"

"Josh cheated on me again, I broke up with him." i ran to my room.

I locked the door my mom came up in a few minutes.

"Maya i left some ice cream outside your door i have to go back for another shift honey. Love you feel better hun." she went down the stairs and I could hear her look the door. I slowly cried myself to sleep.
