Chapter 5

Riley and I talked all night and I don't even remember at what time we ended up falling asleep. By the time I woke up Riley was already up make use some waffles. I went into the kitchen to find a big stack of waffles on the table.

"Good morning. Is this for me?" I asked her as I walked towards my seat around the island in the kitchen. As much as I hated this ratty old apartment it had an island that was simile to a bar.

Riley grabbed a cup and the milk cartoon and placed them on my place mat. She soon came with my stack of waffles and so syrup.

" Of course they are peaches !" She turned around to grab her own stack of waffles.

I took a big chunk of the waffle and stuffed it in my face.

"So what happened between you , Lucas and Josh?" She asked. I nearly choked on the waffle.

" What do you mean with Lucas?" I started to sweat.

"He told me you guys made out don't act dumb with me right now Maya!" She rolled her eyes.

"Next thing I know you wanted Josh dead and then I see you making out with him on your couch!" I turned red.

"Idk Riles ! It just all happened so fast. I didn't mean to have anything happen with Lucas!! It was just a kiss. Besides I'm back with Josh now. He dumbed the bimbo."

"Maya the only bimbo right here is you!"

"Why me ?" I rolled my eyes.

"You got back with Josh after he cheated on you. I know he is my uncle but that was a shady thing to do from his part."

Crap she was right did I forgive Josh to quickly.

"Riley can I be happy for once." I took another bit into my waffle.

"Besides what did you and Josh do?" She drank some milk.

" let's just say these lips weren't the only things he was kissing." I winked at her.

"EWWW Maya! Tmi !!!" She had a disgusted expression.

"Well you asked ! " I put the dishes in the sink and went to my room to get changed.

An hour later.

I went to go get my book from my locker. Oh crap Lucas was coming. Don't make eye contact Maya. Just grab your books and go. I grabbed my books from my locker and made my way to history class.

"Maya wait up!" Fuck there's nothing you can do now.

"So , Maya I want to talk about us." Lucas smiled at me.

"Um yeah about that there is no us Lucas. You continue being the heart-throb of the school and I'll continue being Josh's girlfriend.

"What the hell do you mean? You got back together with that asshole!"

"Yes as a matter of fact I did and it's not any of your business." I turned around a stormed off.

I walked into Mr. Mathews class and sat in my seat.

"Maya what's wrong?" Riley asked.

"Just because I made out with Lucas he thinks I'm his property." I rolled my eyes.

"Maya when the hell did you make out with Lucas ?" She questioned me.

"Ugh riley remember? Lucas told you already"

"Oh right"
