Chapter 2

The bell rang and before I knew it the school day was over .I can't believe I'm spending senior year at a whole new school. I miss josh.

"Maya !" I heard someone yell down the hall. Of course it was Riley. I walked toward her and her group of friends. I'm guessing the popular ones.

"Maya , let me introduce you do the group." She said proudly.

"This is Zay , Lucas and Farkle." She said as she pointed to every single one of them. Zay shook my hand.

"Mmh yeah we already met in the hall." Lucas told Riley , and his cheeks turned red.

"Get out of my way pretty boy. And I'm farkle." A goofy kid with a science t-shirt on.

"What's a farkle ?" I asked.

"Maya , that's his name" she said lifting her eyebrow.

"Oh , very unique . Farkle . I like it." His expression soon change and he seemed very content with me.

"Riley I'm gonna head home I'll go drop off my stuff and head to your house in a bit." I walked away grabbing my things from the locker.

"Wait hold on Maya!" I heard a blondie boy yell from across the hall. Who was it now. Oh it's huckleberry , great.

"Umm , I was meaning to ask you something ? Would you like to go out some day to lunch or something ?"

"Um sure as long as it's not a date huckleberry. I have a boyfriend." His face dropped.

"Oh umm yeah not a date just lunch."

"Then yes I'd love to go out and get lunch with you huckleberry." I walked away and headed towards the bus. I got butterflies in my stomach. What the hell is wrong with you Maya you love Josh not Lucas. Besides I think Riley loves Lucas.

I climbed up the window into Riley's room. As soon as I walked I I heard someone yell.

"Bay window , Bay window now!"  She ran to sit on the window .

"What happened Riles!"

" Great new Maya , Great news !" She said smiling like a fool.

"Okay what's your news?" I asked

"Farkle asked me out !" She yelled.

"I thought you liked Lucas ?"

"I'm mean as an friend yeah but nothing more nothing less. Why ?."

" I was just asking Riley , cause I'm going to go get lunch with him later at your moms place."

"What about Josh ?"

" it's just lunch Riley." I reassured her. We began talking and talking about random things until it was time for me to go to Topangas.

I said bye to Riley and began walking where I saw Lucas already sitting at a table with a camera . He was reading a book. Hmm maybe he isn't a dumb jock after all.

"Umm hi Lucas." I took my seat.

" hello Maya "

"I hope I didn't leave you here waiting for to long"

"No you're fine what would you like to order?" He asked me.

Hmm that's different Josh always wants to take control and Order whatever he wants and tries to get me whatever even if I don't like what her chooses I'm forced to eat it.

"I'll just get a sandwhich please and a iced water" I smiled at him. Lucas went to go place our order and I sat there looking at his camera. I love art and photography it's just that I never have money to buy things.

"Do you want to see the camera Maya?"he asked me.

"Yes please if you don't mind." He handed me the camera. I knew how to work it due to the fact that I studied cameras before.

I grabbed the camera by its lens. Took of the lens cap off of the camera and made Lucas smile. I got a perfect Candid and the exposure was perfect.

"Perfect." I handed Lucas the camera back.

"Wow Maya I didn't know you knew things about cameras." He looked pretty surprised.

"Yeah, I know a few things. I have studied cameras I just don't have money to afford one." Our food came to the table and we started talking for hours. I really enjoyed Lucas and his presence plus he was so cute. As I take another bit out of my sandwhich. The door opens and a boy with black hair and a little brunette come in all loud and slam the door. Ugh how annoying.

I froze.

"Josh."

"Maya what's wrong?" Lucas turned around and saw what was the problem.

"Whose that?" He asked.

"Um my boyfriend, maybe ex. I'll be back I need to go strangle him." I was so angry.

"Josh what the hell are you doing here!" He turned around and his face went blank.

"Excuse me don't talk to my boyfriend like that!" The stupid girl who came in with him responded.

"Excuse me but I'll talk to him how ever the fuck I want to talk to him. " I yelled

"Besides who the fuck are you anyways?"

" I'm his girlfriend ." I yelled again.

"Oh sweetie you ? Nope you're  pathetic he is mine." My jaw drop. I looked at Josh and he didn't know what to say.

"Maya , I'm sorry. I didn't want you to find out like this !" I was angrier than ever.

"Fuck you , Josh!" I ran out of the restaurant and heard Lucas call my name. I made it too my small little apartment. My legs were hurting. I've never ran as fast as I did then. I can't believe he did that to me! I feel betrayed. I loved him and gave him my all and he repays me with that bimbo. I heard a knock on my door.
