Chapter 4: A Little Party in Cali

* Farrah's POV *

Seven o'clock came along and Esme and I were ready to go. I texted Jc telling him we were on our way but I got no answer. I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. I mean we didn't know anyone from around here so it was kind of a big deal.

We pulled up to the house. There were cars lined up down the road and people everywhere. 

We found a place to park and we headed toward the house. 

Esme led the way into the house. She was always a little more outgoing then I was. 

"Hey Kian!" she said and took off into the house before I could even see where she went. 

Figures she would leave me hanging. Oh well. I just decided to walk around until I had found myself in the kitchen.

"Hey you" I heard from someone walking through the opposite door. 

It was Jc...

"Hey Jc!" I said as he came towards me giving me a hug. Wow he gives good hugs.

"You wanna dance?" he asked, I could barely hear him over the pounding music.

"Sure!" I said. I wasn't a big dancer, but when it came to parties, I could always find the right moves.

He led me into the dark room full of dancing people and flashing lights. He smiled and turned me away from him, grabbing me by the waist and pulling me close, swaying his hips with mine. 

It felt good to be at a party and to be having a good time... not only that, it felt good to be with Jc.

* Esme's POV *

I walked into the fully packed house thankfully finding Kian standing by the door. Kian was Jc's friend I had met at Starbucks this morning. He was so cute but there was nothing between us.

"Come on, let me introduce you to some of my friends" he said grabbing my hand. 

A brown haired girl came running over, grabbing onto Kian's side. He leaned down planting a kiss on her lips. 

"Esme this is Andrea, my girlfriend, Andrea this is Esme" Kian introduced us. 

"Nice to meet you Esme!" She said shaking my hand. 

"You too!" I smiled.

She was beautiful and she had a great sense of style. 

She followed along aside me and Kian. 

"Well you've already met Jc, so now I'll let you meet the rest of the boys" Kian said. 

"The boys?" I asked confused. 

Kian told me about how him and 5 other boys have a colab channel on youtube called Our 2nd Life. Andrea also told me that she had a youtube channel and that I had to meet her roomate. She left to go find her while Kian and I continued outside towards the pool. 

There were 2 boys sitting on some chairs outside. 

"Esme this is Connor and this is Ricky" Kian pointed to each of them. 

"Hello Esme!" they both yelled, getting up to hug me. 

"Oh... hi..." I said shocked at how friendly they were. 

"They're not usually like this..." Kian said pulling them away from me. 

"Go sit back down boys, she's not interested" Kian continued.

They all laughed.

"Esme!" I turned around to see Andrea running towards me with a small blonde girl.

"Jen this is Esme, Esme this is Jen" Andrea said. 

I recognized Jen from a youtube video I had watched before. She was such a sweet girl, I enjoyed meeting her and Andrea. 

"Only 2 more, then I'll let you go" Kian said motioning me towards the pool.

There were 2 boys in to pool throwing a ball back and forth at eachother. The boy facing my way looked young, but I couldn't see the boy he was with because he was facing away from my direction. 

Kian pointed to the younger one, "that's Trevor" and then he pointed to the one still turned away, "and that's Sam."

I nodded, I probably wasn't going to remember all of these names. 

"Trevor, Sam, get out here, I want you to meet someone!" Kian yelled.

Trevor began swimming towards the ladder smiling at me and Sam finally turned his body to face me, locking his eyes with mine, revealing a familiar face.

It was the same boy I bumped into at the pizza place yesterday.
