CHELSEA
The few days I had gotten off were already over, and I had returned to school on a wednesday, excited to reunite with my friends again.
I was currently sitting in Math class with Maia. We were in groups of four, and seeing as Maia and I only knew each other in this class, we were randomly paired with two other people who weren't able to find another two either."So," A girl named Lily said, as he pointed at our second question. "How are we going to solve this?" She asked as she looked at us with confused eyes. Before we started, she had already told us that Math weren't her best class and that she rarely got anything over a C+. I weren't one to judge though, seeing as I sucked at it too.
I leaned forward, looking at the question in front of us. "I have no idea," I said with a dramatic voice, as I ran a hand over my face. To be honest, I really didn't have any idea how to do this. Just like Lily, it was rare I got a good grade in Math class. Mostly I would blame it on the teacher, seeing as they often didn't like me that well, but in this specific topic, it were definitely my academics.
"We just have to find x, that's really not that hard," A guy named Lucas said, as he pointed at the task. He went on about how we could solve it in different ways, but as soon as he began talking, just as soon my mind went else where. In just two days I were going to the fair with Julian, whom I had only met one time. I mean, what if he turns out to be some kind of psychopath? I guess it's a good thing we'll be somewhere with a lot of people then, seeing as I really weren't that fond of hanging out with people in private settings, unless I knew them very well.
And besides that, I had made plans to go out for icecream with Alexander on saturday to catch up on lost conversations, and hopefully become great friends again. There's really nothing I've wanted more since the day he went off to high school, four years ago.
Come to think of it, I was a 12 year old kid who was madly in love with her best friend at the time, who was a teenager going through puberty. Somehow that seems quite strange to me now, looking back at it. But if this were to happen now, it would be perfectly normal, seeing as we both were going through our teenage years - partying and discovering ourselves and others."Hallo?" Maia snapped her finger in front of my face, catching my attention. "Are you done daydreaming so we can go have lunch with Camille?" I looked at Maia with confusion written all over my face. Had I really been in my thoughts for that long? I asked myself as I scratched my chin.
"Sure," I said as I grabbed my stuff. Looking around me I could see that most students had already cleared and were on their way to lunch. I couldn't blame them really, wednesday was Taco day at school and it was probably the best food they served. Like many other schools, our food weren't terrible, but it definitely weren't good either. In fact, most people preferred going off campus to get food - but you could only do that if you were a junior or senior, freshmen and sophomores had to stay on campus. That meant most people brought their food from home, unless it was wednesday.I swung my bag over my shoulder and grabbed Maia's arm, dragging her with me towards the foodcourt in a fast pace, making sure that we didn't miss the tacos like last wednesday, when Maia had suddenly gotten her period and we had to make a stop at the bathroom.
I opened the door to the foodcourt in a hurry, and rushed to the line, seeing that there were still a lot of tacos left, and only then I let myself breathe properly. "We made it," I sighed as I leaned my head backwards, relieved that I didn't have to go without food today, since the only thing left, if you miss the tacos, are egg sandwiches.
"Of course, most classes are further away than Mrs. Garcia's Spanish class, luckily," Maia said as she tapped her foot on the floor as we waited for the queue to work it's way forward so that we could get our food.As we stood waiting, only a few people in front of us, someone tapped me on the shoulder, catching my attention. I turned my head to a smiling Alexander.
"Hey," I said as I offered him a small smile, trying not to get too distracted so that the queue wouldn't move without me.
"Hey," He said back. "I was just wondering if we were still on for saturday?" He asked. I nodded at his words.
"Of course we are," I said. "Unless you have somewhere else to be?" I asked. I wouldn't be pissed if he did, but I sure would be a little disappointed, seeing as I was kind of looking forward to catching up.
"I got nowhere else to be," He said with a clear voice. "I'll see you on saturday," He said as he walked away and towards some of his friends, that didn't include Brandon, seeing as he was probably bussy screwing some girl in the janitor's closet as always.I sighed and moved forward, finally receiving my tacos. I paid the cashier and grabbed my tray, walking away towards our usual table where Camille was already sitting eating her own tacos and checking her phone.

EDITEDThis is just a filler, since I thought the original chapter (and story) were moving too fast and had too few fillers.
