it's not fair

dippers P.O.V

after I finished talking to wendy I went upstairs to check on mabel "mabel?" I said as I opened the door and what I saw broke my heart. she was on her bed with her legs brought up to her chest and she was crying "go away" she said and I took a step closer "I SAID GO AWAY" she yelled at me and I started to get angry "mabel you need to calm down" I said trying not to shout back

"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE YOU GODDAMN IDIOT" I walked over to her and sat down "im not leaving till you calm down" I said to her trying to comfort her "IT'S NOT FAIR DIPPER!" she cried and she hugged me "I know I know" I patted her back.

"hey is everything ok?" wendy walked into the room and I shook my head "I thought you went home?" I asked her as I hugged mabel "no I decided to stay till my shift I over" I nodded and mabel whimpered "hi wendy" she said quietly and she let go of me "hey mabel" she replied and mabel wiped her tears away "I need to let go" mabel said and she stood up "im gonna take a walk" she said as she walked out the room and I sighed.

"dude is she gonna be ok?" wendy asked and I shook my head "I don't know" wendy sat next to me and patted my back "you ok?" she asked and I nodded "I know you just got back but do you maybe want to come over to mines for a movie night on Friday?" she asked and I thought about it "sure why not it's Wednesday today right?" I asked her and she nodded "got it" wendy said goodbye and went back downstairs 'I just hope we can make it through this' I thought to myself as I sat on my bed...

Wendy's P.O.V

'yes he said yes!' I thought to myself before slapping my self "what is wrong with me today seriously!" I said to myself as I sat down at my post and melody walked in "hey wendy" she said and I nodded "oh hey melody" she sighed "I see you're happy that dippers back" I gripped my magazine "what makes you think that?" I didn't know what she was talking about but I felt myself getting flustered "oh nothing" she giggled and walked away 'seriously what did she mean?' I thought to myself but I just decided to forget about it.

after my shift ended I walked back home and decided to go through the woods, I saw mabel sitting on a log "hey mabel!" I waved and she smiled back "hey wendy" she said and I sat down next to her "dippers grown up hasn't he" mabel said and it caught me off guard "yeah he has, he's taller than me!" I exclaimed and mabel sighed

"yeah but I wished he would stop wearing a mask" mabel said and I asked her "what do you mean?" she looked at me "just don't let his appearance fool you that's all" she said bluntly and she stood up "im going back to the shack" I waved to her as she walked away but now she had me curious 'what did she mean by don't let his appearance fool me?' I wondered and I grew frustrated "argh all this stuff is starting to bug me!" I yelled and I stormed home.

"im back!" I yelled as I opened the door "hey pumpkin" my dad said as he walked through the door way "how was work?" he asked and I sighed "well mabel and dipper are staying in gravityfalls permanently" he nodded "dipper huh?" I heard him mutter "what about him?" my dad looked up "nothing!" he laughed and I just shook my head.

"they were in an accident and their parents are well, dead" my dads face dropped "oh im sorry to hear that" I nodded before saying "dipper's coming over on Friday for movie night if that's alright?" I asked him and he nodded "of course, it'll be like old times!" he said and I nodded before going upstairs and flopping onto my bed 'what did mabel mean?' I thought to myself as I lay on my bed...
