best friends

dippers P.O.V

I opened my eyes slowly as sunlight shone through the window. I looked to my left and smiled as I saw wendy still asleep hugging me like a teddy bear. I poked her nose a couple of times to wake her up to no good then I had an idea. I unwrapped her arms that held me and I slowly got up, then I heard her whisper "dipper" I smiled as I watched her sleep.

I went downstairs and got a glass out of the cupboard and filled it with nice cold water "she is gonna hate me for this" I laughed as I walked upstairs again and slowly crept into her room trying not to make a noise "wendy wake up" I said softly into her ear.

"gimme five more minutes" she rolled over "nope!" I chucked the cold water at her and she sat up in a fury "what the hell?" she looked at me angrily and I pointed at the glass that was in my hand "it was him not me" she scoffed and pushed the sheets off her "oh you're so fucking dead" I turned around and ran downstairs as fast as I could.

"where is she?" I stepped outside wondering where she was "gotcha!" I turned around to see her in a bikini with a white t-shirt on but she was also holding a watering hose "oh shit!" I turned round as fast as I could and I tried to run away but I wasn't fast enough "ahh im soaked!" I laughed as I fell on my butt.

"that's what you get!" I looked up "its not over yet!" I took off my flannel and shoes which left me in nothing but a t-shirt and some jeans. I ran inside and grabbed a pair of her brothers swimming shorts "im sure he wont mind if I borrow them" they fit fine but before I went out I grabbed a bucket and filled it with water.

"time for revenge" I smirked as I stepped outside to find wendy "attack!" I saw wendy running towards me with a water gun "charge!" I ran towards her and soaked her with the bucket "dude im dripping wet!" she giggled "I know" I picked up a spare water gun and we continued the water fight for a couple of hours until we stopped.

"alright dude lets get some breakfast" wendy said as she squeezed the water out of her white shirt revealing her bikini which in my opinion was hot. "s-sure" I turned round and started to walk towards the house when I was hit on the back of the head by a water balloon.

"hey!" she giggled "that's what you get for chucking water at me this morning" she shrugged "I'll get you back" I stated before we walked into the kitchen."so tell me why were you at my house?" she asked as we ate some cereal "well you fell asleep last night so I took you up to your room but you had your arms wrapped round me and you wouldn't let go so I decided to sleep here" I shrugged.

Wendy's P.O.V

"well you fell asleep last night so I took you up to your room but you had your arms wrapped round me and you wouldn't let go so I decided to sleep here" he shrugged as he ate his cereal "oh okay" I smiled nervously 'he slept with me last night! and I had my arms wrapped round him too? that's so embarrassing!' I blushed a little as I thought to myself.

"so what do you want to do today?" dipper asked as he put his bowl in the sink "im not bothered!" I said a little to quickly "I mean its up to you we could like wander through the forest of something" I shrugged trying to act cool "yeah that sounds good actually" he nodded to me.

"alright lets go!" I was too lazy to change out my bikini so I just put on some shorts since it was in the middle of summer, dipper done the same as he put a pair of shorts that belonged to my brother over his swim shorts and we headed out.

"dude its so hot today!" I stretched as we walked through the woods "yeah I know it must be like one of the hottest days of the year!" we kept walking until we came across a waterfall "dude its so nice!" it was true, there was a nice clearing with a small calm river with the waterfall pouring into it and it was beautiful.

"glad I brought my bikini!" I took off my shirt and shorts "what are you doing?" dipper asked me "im gonna take a dip in the water obviously!" I ran towards the river and dove into it, I emerged from the water "dude you should come in too!" he sighed "fine" he took of his shirt and I was in awe to see how skinny he was it was freaking hot!

"here I come!" he cannon balled into the water and splashed me "dude!" he emerged "sorry but I've always wanted to do that" we both laughed until I splashed him "take that!" he retaliated "its on!" we began to splash each other and play in the water for what felt like eternity and I loved every minute of it.

after a while we got out and sat on the bank of the river "hey dipper?" he looked over to me "what is it?" I sighed "I'm really sorry about the other day when you know" he shrugged "no its my fault I was being insensitive and I was being a total jerk its my fault" I looked at him "but I shouldn't of done that! it was uncalled for..." he put his hand on my shoulder.

"hey its cool don't worry about it" he smiled "are you sure?" he nodded "its all in the past and besides you're my best friend I could never stay mad at you!" my heart sank a little 'best friend...' I gave a fake smile "best friends" we high fived but in my head I wished we were more than just best friends...
