Mabel's P.O.V

I woke up early that morning, my alarm going off on the bedside drawer next to me "alright alright jeez I get it im up!" I moaned groggily as I shifted about in my bed before the sound of the alarm clock was too much to bear.

I sat up and slammed my hand on top of the alarm clock, turning it off. "jesus Christ why does the alarm clock have to be so goddamn loud!?" I complained to no one as I realised I was speaking to myself, again. 

"oh, right, not in the same room as dipper anymore" I sighed as I flopped back onto my bed. the clock read 11:47 and I rubbed my eyes tiredly "welp, better get up!" I said cheerily to myself as I stood up and placed my feet onto the nice cold floorboards. the summer heat was growing so it was good for a little bit of coldness.

I looked into the mirror to see my hair was in a frizz "dammit,  every night I comb it straight and it gets in a mess everytime I wake up!" I complained, I guess I must move a lot in my sleep. I stretched standing up and listened to the birds chirping outside.

I began to walk downstairs, yawning as I descended down the steps. soos was already in the kitchen cooking pancakes at the cooker. "oh hey dude!" he waved happily and I waved back "hey soos, up early as usual?" I asked and he nodded.

"you know me, the earlier im up and the quicker I can open up shop and you know what that means" he paused and we both spoke at the same time "more money to make!" be both laughed "jinx you owe me a soda" I spoke quickly before he could say it "aw dammit dude you're too quick" he sighed happily as he flipped the pancakes.

"is dipper not up yet?" soos asked and I shook my head "I don't think so" he nodded and hummed "ah right, well I have good news for you dude!" soos said with happiness "what is it this time? a new scam for money?" I questioned and he shook his head.

"nope, you've got the whole day off!" he exclaimed and I cocked my head to the side "why do I have a day off?" I asked and he gave me a goofy grin "well you've been helping out in the shop non stop for a while so I thought it be good for you to get some time to go round town and see some friends!" he chuckled and I smiled.

"thanks soos, but who's gonna help in the shack?" I asked and soos turned round "oh wendy said she'd come round for shift and im gonna make dipper work too" he spoke as he put the pancakes onto three plates and laid them out on the kitchen bunker.

"dipper!" soos called out towards the stairs and there was no reply "he was up late last night let him sleep in" I said as I sat down, eating my pancakes hastily. "you're in a hurry" soos said eating his pancakes faster than I am.

"well its been a while since I've been in town, im excited!" I said, pushing my empty plate in front of me and standing up, bolting towards the staircase. I took a real quick shower before drying myself off quickly. I brushed my teeth over my now braceless teeth and gave a big shiny grin at the mirror.

I wrapped the towel around me and walked to my room. I shut the door and laid the towel into my bed. I opened the drawer and pulled out a pair of light blue skinny jeans, a red T-shirt and underwear. I hastily got changed and chucked my converse on before grabbing my phone and drying my hair with the blow dryer.

after this was done I ran downstairs as quick as I could, grabbed my keys and dashed out the front door, walking towards the lovely town of gravity falls. the walk was pleasant, the sun shining over my head and not a could in the sky, the perfect summer weather!

I entered the town rather quickly as I was walking fast, I went round saying hi to all the townsfolk and saw candy working in the arcade, I waved as I walked by but she didn't see. 'I'll visit her later' I thought to myself as I stared up at the sky, my feet walking slower as to keep in a straight line.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, the summer air surrounding me felt amazing. THUD I landed onto my backside and rubbed my forehead "ouch" I spoke as I opened my eyes to see what I had collided with. in front of me sat a blonde girl, no older than me. her pink summer top and grey jean shorts making her look very pretty. her hair was long and straight, and it looked smooth.

"ouch" she rubbed her forehead and I stood up "here let me help you up, im so sorry" I apologized as she took a hold of my hand and stood up. "that really hurt you know, please be more careful when you're walking" she still had her eyes closed and I looked at her in awe.

her hips were curvy and she had a nice bust. she was slim and quite beautiful looking. I couldn't help but blush as I looked at her 'she looks so, amazing' I thought to myself as I stared in a day dream, as I watched her rub her eyes. 'wait what am I thinking she's a girl! I don't like girl I like guys, right?' I questioned myself in my head as my blush grew.

she looked up at me and her face was beautiful, she opened her eyes and looked at me "please watch where you are going, it can be danger- wait, mabel?!" the girl asked, with an astonished look and a red blush on her face. I recognised her face and the cogs in my mind began to work as my eyes widened and my blushed deeper "p-pacifica!?"
