"What are you doing here Noah? I... I thought you was in jail." I asked.
"Well sweet cheeks, I decided I would visit my best friend" he winks at me and throws his arm over my shoulders.
"Get off of me right now Noah. I'm not the fragile little girl you tried to take advantage of a year ago." I snarl.
" Oh really?" He chuckles.                 " Cause of what I have already seen, you can't even handle a guy touching you. I have been back for a couple of weeks and, well, I didn't know you had such an interesting life. By the way tell your parents that slap wasn't hard enough, and don't talk to that Jackson guy if you know what's good for you. Bye Adrian, I will be seeing you later." He says and walks out.
Wow so he is back and he's been watching me. Well that's just dandy. I get ready to leave the gym since I am not in the mood to work out any more. I get changed into my extra running shorts that were gave to me and a cutoff shirt then start on my walk back home. I arrive quickly and open the door. I walk into the kitchen to start on dishes but the food hasn't been touched. Seems like dad and mom aren't home yet. Yay! It's been a while since i have had the house to me in the evening. Looks like I am going to have a peaceful night.
I wake up to the sound of a couple voices and look at my alarm and it says 6:00 on the dot. Ugh why do they have to come back now? I was sleeping good. I get up to start off the day since I only had thirty more minutes to sleep. Since I had extra time, I jumped in the shower and quickly washed myself with my cocoa butter and shea body wash and did all my necessities then got out. I looked in my closet and wanted to look decent so I threw on a white loose crop top and a pair of cutoff overalls paired with a camo hat and my cowgirl boots. I had time to actually straighten my hair so I did just that while burning myself since I haven't done it in so long. My hair was put into a pony tail stuck through my hat. I put on some powder and mascara since my face has no acne on it and walk down stairs to make my parents breakfast.
I made them scrambled eggs and toast. I get up to leave and make sure to lock the front door with the extra key under the mat.
Arriving at work, I had completely forgotten that I was partners with Jackson. He was standing there in a pair of blue jeans and a blue flannel shirt with his boots. He looks really good. I think that but once again scold myself for thinking that way about a guy. As soon as he turns around I look down at the dirt and walk over to sign in.
