The Beginning After The End

They were warned, they all were. Human beings were told many times to cherish what they had or else it would be taken away from there. The message of the end came in many forms. It came in the form of Religion. Many people took up a book of their choice and read it entirely in order to comprehend more about the tasks they must take up in order to save humanity from itself. After being cleansed of their sins, all went out and preached their faith. Some of them forcing it upon others. And when there came resistance, two things occur. Either another route would be taken, or the force would be increased. This brought the warning to come in another form, War. Every single World War started out small and could've been stopped. However it wasn't, and two times has the entire world been exposed to the aftermath of war and its brutality. And once again have human beings been warned, in the form of failure. Learning from failures in the past is how success is brought about. And some people learned, some people opened up their ears. But it wasn't enough.

Those who were listening and heard the warnings rallied up as many as they can and began to build. At first they had no idea what they were building, but overtime the thought became clear. The plan was to create a planet, but not any planet. One that could sustain life and guarantee humanity's infinite lifespan. Why didn't they just start over with what they already had? Simple, because it was too late. Planet Earth was doomed from the moment those in charge proven to not think about the planet's eternal future but instead their own present.  When you fail to plan, you plan to fail. And sometimes, failure can be taken and another chance at success could be given. Mother Nature had no plans of giving anymore chances, and thus came the total destruction of Planet Earth.

Complete and total annihilation, is what the few who managed to heed the warnings watched from their own small planet no bigger than the moon. From miles away, from start to finish, their eyes remained glued upon tiny monitor which broadcast Earth's death. Nothing any of them could do however, nothing at all. They already gathered all of they can which came up to about a thousand, barely enough to fully utilized an archipelago. Some of their hearts cried out, others wept themselves for days, and some wore a bold while giving a shoulder for others to lean on. If they let their emotions get to them, their dreams would never realized and they to would fail like the rest of their species. Along with the fact nearly all of the oxygen stored was almost used up even though it had only been a few days.

That day they all remembered the common principle of life. This being, "When one life ends, another begins". A siren rang throughout the small planet, alarming everyone. Shocked and scared for their lives, thinking that they too have met their ends, the few humans left raced towards the center of their planet. All eyes were glued upon the large observation glass which showed a barren field. The dirt was well fertilized and seeds were planted. So far, none of them seemed to grow none the less become a plant and bore fruit. Today however was different. In the wide acres of soil there was a tiny small spec. No one knew what it was but upon further inspection they all realized that it was something green.

A tiny leaf attached to a stem no bigger than a fetus' finger sprouted from the ground. In an instant, all of the worries and sadness was swept away. Shortly after the destruction of another planet, came the celebration and birth of a new one. With one plant came the symbol of hope for all of those who inhabited it. From the crowd shouted a voice of a small child who could barely pronounce her own name. And she said a word which silenced everyone for a brief moment. But just as soon as silence came it left, for now they had a name to call their new home. And its name is:

"Oo-Topia..."
