"DIPPER I'M SO PROUD OF YOU! I never knew you were such a charmer!" Mabel squealed. The twins were sitting in the kitchen area, Mabel sitting on the counter, her feet on Dipper's chair as he paced around.
"I'm not the charmer, Mabes. This guy is." Dipper said simply as he scratched the top of his head.
"Oh PLEASE," Mabel poked her brother's nose. " Dipper Pines, my dear bro, you are a charmer. You managed to uncontrollably -possibly unknowingly-flirt with this bartender and somehow convinced him to go on a date with you!" She squealed again, shaking her twin's arm.
Dipper swatted at her. "That is not what happened at all, actually. First off, its not a date. And second, I didn't flirt with him."
Mabel gave him a look. " You were tracing his arm tats with your fingers."
Dipper rolled his eyes. "They were cool..I think. I don't really remember." He shrugged.
"Well hurry up Dipstick, it's already 5:30." His twin pointed at the clock, which read 5:26.
"Mabel its not 5:30."
"DIPPER DO NOT TEST ME."
Dipper put his hands up in surrender and walked towards his room, which didn't take long. The apartment was decent sized and had two bedrooms, perfect for Mabel and Dipper. He wandered towards his closet and pulled out a flannel and pair of Timberlands.
"It's not date," he spoke to himself as he slipped on the shoes and buttoned the flannel. "It's just two random guys going to a movie... and dinner." He frowned, and rubbed the sleeve of his shirt.
He walked back to the kitchen, to see Mabel still on the counter, his phone in her hand.
"What are you do-" Dipper was greeted by a hand from his sister, pushing his face away. She was grinning from ear to ear. He leaned over, regardless the hand pushing him away and noticed she was reading his text messages from 'Bill.'
"MABEL WHAT THE HE-" He was rewarded by the hand once more as she kept scrolling through the conversation. He pushed the arm away and snatched his phone back. He checked the texts between him and Mabel to find a bunch of screenshots of the conversation between him and Bill. He whipped his head around to see Mabel holding back laughter.
"THIS IS CRAZY MABEL, LIKE OBSESSIVE."
"Oh please, its completely normal for a sister wanting to help her gay brother with his relationships."
"There are two things wrong with that sentence. One is that you are not normal, and two: I AM NOT GAY!"
Mabel rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah I know, bisexual." Mabel smiled wickedly. "You just have a higher preference for dudes, don't you?"
Dipper didn't answer, but the sudden blush on his cheeks answered it for him.
Mabel put up finger guns and pointed them at her brother. "Gotcha."
Dipper groaned and started walking out the door.
"HAVE FUN ON YOUR DATE BRO!" Mabel called as he slammed the door shut.
Dipper breathed and text Bill he was on his way.
Sad thing for Dipper, Mabel was absolutely right.
he did go on a date.
