I slide the doors shut behind me as I entered my house and was immediately greeted by Archie trying to climb up my leg with an excited tail wiggle. I bent down and sntached him, caressing his soft fur in the back of his ear and seeing him enjoy the sensation I gave him with a big smile on his mouth, is toung slid out as he panted.

"Hey Archie" I told him in a baby voice.

"You're a terrible mother" Alex told me as he unpacked the grocerie bags.

"No I'm not" I shot him a stare.

"Yes you are" he chuckled, "he was gone the whole day and you haven't realized it".

"Oh yeah! Where was he?" I asked as I turned to look at my dog.

"Over at the neighbors house" Emma answered.

I gave Archie the death stare but he only licked my cheek to see I wasn't happy. I put him down making a face and whipping off his selaiva. Archie always jumps the fence to go visit his girl friend, an original french poodle. Its been already 2 week that he dose that and we are starting to worry he becomes a dad at a young age.

"He's a new member" Drake walked up to me and bent down to caress Archie's head.

"My son, your nephew" I bumped my shoulder with his.

He rose his eyebrows in surprise and giggled as he glared at our amused dog who had most of the attention at the momment. Emma rolled her eyes and started to take out some plates to set the table. Alex grabbed them from her grip and went over at the dinning table placing them in thier propper side.

"You two" she pointed at us, "bring the food".

We both lounged for the stove where Drake had placed a casserole of boiling pasta which made my stomach growl in hunger. I turned off the stove and opened the lid, the kitchen suddenly smelled like delicious food which I inhaled in while at it.

"Oh god" I breathed, "this smells amazing".

"Well I would have loved you to see how I prepared it" Drake grabbed the casserole with a kitchen mittens and I grabbed a big spoon.

I shrugged, "sorry, I had to pick up that call"

"No I know" he told me, "I mean, I am glad you made some friends".

Now I felt bad, I left him alone and busy with food but I don't regret in answering Zayn's call.

"I guess you can say that" I said unsure.

"You seemed nervous though".

I smiled at him compressing the urge in admitting I was nervous and simply sighed as I followed him into the dinning table where we met Emma and Alex.

"Nervous?" I gave him an incredulous look, "why would I?".

Drake gave me a confused frown in a smirk and finally arriving at the kitchen table, he sets the casserole on the table. I place the big spoon aside and look at him concern of him suspecting something.

"Why don't you guys go wash up" Emma told us as she placed spoons and forks on each side of a plate.

It was me who gave the first step and guided him to the bathroom, Archie in between our legs. As I opened the door, I turned on the lights and Drake settled himself againts the sink as I washed my hands.

"So how many friends?".

I blinked but didn't make eye contact with him as I rinsed my hands. "Not many".

"Why do I have a feeling thats not true?" he insisted.

I sighed as I look at myself at through the mirror and saw Drake starting at me, locking our eyes. I smiled at him a little touched at his curiousity and pulled the small towel hanged in a towl rack. I dryed my hands as I took a step aside letting him wash his hands and leaned on the sink while at it.
