outside of the venue, i stood next to hailey who was still pouting like a little ass kid. even though we were ready to go, za wanted to talk to me and maejor said he'll follow me back home to get his stuff.

moments later, za was walking toward us only wish avery, maejor, and audrey behind him. we do our handshake before he looks at me. "what's wrong with her?" he looks at hailey.

"she's mad they fired her for audrey." i sigh. "and she blames me for it."

za starts laughing, not helping at all. it wasn't even a small laugh, he was laughing so hard that he was getting odd looks from people around us. "what the fuck are you laughing for?" i hit his shoulder.

he just shakes his head. "you made me forget what i wanted you for."

i just roll my eyes. "anyways, you wanna hang out or something? ryan and latavia are going to florida and she's still being childish."

"she is right here and can hear you." hailey spoke.

za chuckles, then shakes his head. "we can hang out when i come back to cali. we're going to cancun for a vacation and a photo shoot audrey has."

i nod. "i'll see you."

"see you." he pats my shoulder.

"maejor, are you coming?" i ask, and he nods. "you can just ride with us, if you want."

"i'd rather not." he shakes his head.

"brandon, we'll be at the hotel." audrey spoke before i got to.

"aight." he says. "i know where you live, i'll just meet you there."

i nod, then turned to hailey. she was already walking toward the limo so i caught up to her. we didn't speak the whole ride.

"you okay?" avery's voice made me look up at her. "is it justin?"

i nod, sighing. "this isn't like the last time. it isn't dramatic. it's more deeper than last time."

"what do you mean?" she asks, taking her shoes off to sit on the bed next to me.

"our breakup wasn't as dramatic like the last one. seeing him today didn't make me want to kill him, it made me want to cry." i sigh, looking down at my hand where the promise ring he gave me used to be. i still have it, it's at home in pittsburgh. "he's back with hailey, av."

as soon as i said it, tears started. avery wrapped her arms around me which caused me to start crying. "this is your first time crying over him, isn't it?"

i nod. "it's my first time seeing him since we broke up."

she sighs, and rubs my back. "he's at home with hailey doing god knows what, you're not going to sit here and cry. let's go out."

"i don't wanna." i whine, wiping under my eyes carefully since i still have makeup on. "can we just go swim in the pool?"

"we can go to the beach." avery stands up with a grin on her face. "come on, boo."

"fine, whatever."
