"Tikki, transform me!"

Adrien couldn't do anything but just sit in shock as she transformed into the beauty in his dreams. There was no way. Marinette... Ladybug...

"Hi, Adrien." She gave him a sheepish smile and all he could do was stare at her. "I wanted to show you who I really am." She motioned down at herself. "Well, who I am sometimes. The real me, Marinette, could never imagine showing myself like this. But Ladybug, well, she's fierce. You know?"

He nodded and continued to stare at her. "Yeah I know exactly what you mean."

"That girl you were talking about.." Marinette continued. "She's me, isn't she?"

Adrien was speechless. Had Marinette figured it out so easily? All he could do was sit, and stare.

"Adrien?"

He stood up and adjusted the shoulder strap of his bag awkwardly. "Marinette? Is that really you?"

Ladybug laughed and nodded. "I know it's crazy, isn't it?"

"No, not crazy, just... Crazy." He looked down at the ground and sat back down. "Last night." He paused. "You took my advice then didn't you?" He laughed at himself. "If only I had known."

He couldn't help himself and his hand moved toward her face. He could tell she was a bit in shock but continued. "If only I had known." He repeated, touching her face. "That the girl behind this mask was so close to me."

She looked down, blushing and shook her head. "I didn't know it was you until just last night, and it's been over a year since we met each other."

"Can you turn back into Marinette for me?" She nodded and there was a bright light. And then, Marinette was standing in front of him.

He slowly wrapped his arms around her, holding on tight. "I like it better this way."

Marinette couldn't believe what she had done. But now he was hugging her and she wasn't quite sure what to do. "Adrien. Are you okay with me being Ladybug?"

He held her shoulders and looked right into her eyes. "I wouldn't want her to be anyone else." She giggled and moved her hair behind her ear.

"I'm glad." She gave him a wide smile and hugged him unexpectedly.

They stayed like that for some time. They sat on the bench of the park, talking until it was dark.

"I should probably go." Marinette said and looked at her phone. "It's getting late."

Adrien nodded and smiled as he kissed her on the cheek.

As Marinette was walking away, she turned around and saw him just as she had left him. "So.." She said loud enough for him to hear. "What does this make us?"

"Whatever you want us to be." He smiled.
