She opened the door to find Adrien. Only Adrien. "Uhh, hi.." She started. He smiled at her and pulled out his phone.

"They bailed on us. I didn't think you would mind just me." He laughed a little bit and she blushed.

"I don't mind you. You can- Umm, you're- it's cool." She looked down at the ground and motioned for him to come in.

"Thanks." He said with a laugh.

"Do you want to head up then?" She nudged her head toward the stairs.

"Yeah," he kept scratching the back of his neck awkwardly and Marinette sighed at herself. Be calm Marinette, she told herself.

When they got up to her room he smiled and said, "It looks the same as it did before."

"Really? I've changed it around since you were last here." She looked around in confusion.

"Really? I've changed it around since you were last here." Adrien looked up at her in horror. Last time he had been in here was when he was Chat. And that was only a few weeks ago.

As he thought of something to say she spoke, "Maybe I didn't change that much." He sighed in relief and she laughed a bit, getting a chair for him. "Here you go, I'll be right back." He sat down and she came back with two controllers.

They played for a while and, of course, Marinette won each and every time. Adrien never let it get to him though, he knew when he showed up that Marinette was going to demolish him. "I can let you win if you want," Marinette said with a bright smile. He noticed that she wasn't stuttering anymore. That was good.

"No, I don't even think you could let me win with how good you are." He looked over at her and recognized the playful sparkle in her eyes. As soon as he saw it, it was gone. She was looking back at the screen, about to start a new game.

"Wait!" He jumped up, putting a hand on hers before she could start the game. "I have to ask you something." Marinette looked up at him, standing over her.

"Uhh, yes?" She spoke softly, scared maybe.

"I feel like," he shook his head and sat back down, letting her hand go. "Never mind. It's stupid."

She stared at him in shock, "What is it?"

"Well, it's just that," he scratched the back of his neck again and tried not to make eye contact. "I feel like when I see you, I'm looking at two different people. I know it's crazy, but it's like there's two Marinette's. One: I feel like hates me and can't even talk to me. And two: Is confident and loves to be around me."
