Our Love

Kimiko's POV

"It felt like a dream. None of it seemed real. I never thought that I would fall in love with someone. My parents would normally go out and find a boyfriend for me. Before my parents had died, they had chosen this boy from planet Nagi. He was so annoying that I couldn't even stand the sight of him. But, I'm so glad that Ace loves me and I love him. I feel that we could be together...forever." I laid down in Ace's bed, just looking at the ceiling fan spin. I saw that Ace walked into the room, with his hands behind his back. He smiled and said, "It must be a lazy day for you today? That's funny because normally, that's my job." I did nothing but laugh at him. Ace walked towards me, happily. I think that he was about to explode, if he didn't tell me what he needed to say. He sat on the bed and asked me, "What are you thinking about right now?" I went silent, but I ended up smiling. "Every night, I would have dreams of me talking to my parents and brother about you. My mother would ask me questions like, "Is he cute", "Do you know if he can take care of you", "Is he thinking about marriage", or "Is he going to be a new member of this family?" I could just my father standing behind me with either a shotgun or a sword. Not to mention, Hikoru would try and be friends with you, so he knows that I'll have someone to protect me." Ace and I, both laughed at my responds. He leaned in and kissed my forehead.

 "I'll always protect you. Kimiko, you'll never have to be scared again. I'll always be here for you. I promise we'll be together...forever," he said looking me in my eyes. I never thought that I would ever find someone that wasn't afraid of me. I couldn't do anything but blush. I was so happy to know that Ace wouldn't leave me and he loved me. I tried to hold back my tears, however they flowed down my cheeks like a waterfall. Ace looked at me and smiled. I couldn't even see out of my eyes, they were so blurry. I laughed, then Ace pulled me in to hug me. But when he hugged me, I felt something be put around my neck. "Ace, what are you doing?" He pulled away from the hug and told me, "I wanted to surprise you, but you were already awake." I looked down at the necklace and my eyes began to water. The necklace said, "I'll never leave your side" and on the back it said, "Bae". Hikoru had told me once about the word "bae". I think he said that the word stood for, "Before Anything or Anyone Else". I looked up from the necklace and jumped into Ace's arms. I've never felt so much joy in my entire life. Ace was perfect for me. He had the cutest face, sexiest body, most adorable smile, and the greatest personality in the whole fucking Galaxy. I now see that love is real. I now understand the meaning of our love.
