It took about half an hour or so to finally get my stuff inside Kris's house. I set everything inside the guest room where I would be. I sat on the king sized bed in the guest room, and smiled knowing I would be here for a while. I closed the door behind myself and walked downstairs to find Kris playing some shooting game online. He was so focused while talking to the gamers through the headset. I laughed, and he turned around for a quick second.
"Come over here." I sashayed over to the couch, and sat my feet in his lap. His aim was pretty sharp, and his skills on the game over all were pretty intense. I actually enjoyed watching him play. He began to kiss my neck, sucking my skin leaving love marks. I smiled and tilted my neck giving him more access. I remember why I came down here, and stood up. He smacked his lips, and paused exited the game.
     " Wassup ma?" He asked.
" I'm about to run to the store. I need some pills." He wasn't really feeling it and shook his head.
"Nah, I have pills in my bathroom cabinet." I sighed.
"Exactly. In your cabinet. I want my own in my cabinet."
"Everything in here is kind of yours." I shifted my weight on my other leg.
"If this is about me not going out for my safety. It isn't that serious. 7/11 is right down the street. You can come if you want." He placed his hands behind his head.
"Listen this the only time I'm going to let this slide. Hurry back. Grab, pay, and go." I smiled and grabbed my keys. I hopped in my Audi and drove to the store.
I walked in the medicine aisle, and picked out about 5 different bottles of pain relievers. I was toward the back, and was happy when I got to the front of the line. I placed the items in front of the African American male. He cut his eyes at me, and I twisted my face at him.
     "What ?" I asked.
He smiled. " I hope a pretty girl like you ain't suicidal." I rolled my eyes.
"Do it really look like I'm suicidal?" He pushed the pill bottles in front of me and smiled.
I laughed, because it did really seem like that.
" Well look here. Just so I know you ain't kill yoself, give me your number. Within the next couple of hours imma call and check on you." I smiled at how slick he thought he was.
" That's for your concern but I think my man does enough checking up on me." He held his hands up in defense.
" Just saying, but you have a good night. Hopefully I'll see you around here more often." I nodded.
.
I organized my bottle in the medicine cabinet, and reached for my phone in my back pocket. It wasn't there, so I searched everywhere else. Fuck! I might have left it in the car. I grabbed my keys and headed downstairs. I stopped when I seen Kris turn around and look at me on the couch.
     "Where you going again?"
"What are you doing with my phone?" I walked over to him throwing my keys on the coffee table.
"Don't worry I didn't text any of your niggas. I was just uploading pictures of me on your snapchat and instagram. Just to let them know." I snatched my phone laughing.
"What niggas ?" I said looking at the images he took.
"I don't know. You tell me." He said pulling me onto his lap.
"I talk to no one sir. If you must know." He kissed my lips.
"Better not be. You stuck with me until I take my last breath."
"Ha. Your funny." I climbed off him, only to be pulled down and pinned down on the couch with him hovering over me.
"Quit playing. I'm dead ass." He looked me in my eyes, except his were now black.
"Okay." He began to kiss my neck and worked his way down. As he got lower I placed one foot on his chest and slowly pushed him back. He held my foot and stopped.
"Not tonight. I'm going to cheer practice after-school to catch up. I don't want to be sore tomorrow." He nodded.
"So your going to school tomorrow?" I shrugged.
" I do want to go, but I know you'll be here alone. That's what worries me Kris."
"I'm not fuckin' handicapped Dej. I'm pretty sure we both can see that." I sat up.
"That's not what I was saying Kris. I just don't want to leave your here and there's some things you need help with." He laid back.
" I'm pretty sure I'll be koo while you gone." He hopped up and I guess went to his room. I sighed and rubbed my face. I turned the lights off and went to shower and sleep myself.
.
I was fully dressed, and was about to head out. I wore a black tank top, black stretch tights, and my all black Air Forces. I left my weave curly from being wet in the shower. Usually I would grab fast food, but I cooked in case Kris was hungry and wanted breakfast. I placed a lid over the food, and placed his plate in the microwave. I walked into his room, and he was still sleep. I walked over to him, and studied the way he was peacefully sleeping, but also frightening. I kissed his lips twice before walking out. I didn't have the keys to his house, so I locked the little locks closing the door behind me. I wasn't truthfully ready to go back to school, but I needed to separate myself from him. I know Kobe knows I'm there, and the more I stay away from Kris, the greater the chances of him getting hurt again was very low. I parked in the lot across from Regina's car. She didn't see me, because her and Jack were having a pretty intense argument. I honked my horn, and they both shot their eyes in my direction. Regina wiped her face, and hopped out after Jack said a few words to her. What ever he said had her on the edge. I know a scared face when I see one. Jack threw his head up at me and I smiled. I hugged Regina and we began to walk. I didn't bother asking her about their conversation. When she's ready to talk, I'm all ears.
