"Do you want us to do this the easy way or the hard way?" One of my friend Justin asked, crossing his arms. Forcing me to go to this stupid race that I don't really care about.

I was laying on my bed as I enjoyed reading my favorite book in peace until they all invited themselves inside my apartment and rudely interrupted me. I rolled my eyes, "No, I'm not going, and you can't make me. You can go without me, like you also do."I continued reading.

Then someone snatched my book out of my hands, and it was Emily. I groaned, "Guys, please! I don't want to go."

Justin said, "Alright Kathy, hard way it is. Alex"  He nodded at Alex, and Alex came towards me, and throw me over his shoulder. I yelled at him to put me down, and punched his back, but he didn't and went out of my apartment.

Emily whined, "Come on, Kathy. it'll be fun."

I was still hanging on his shoulder, and Emily was behind Alex, in front of me. I lifted my head towards her and gave her my middle finger. 

This is really uncomfortable.

When we were out of my apartment building and in front of Alex's car, he finally put me down. I punched his arm, and he chuckled.

I raised my eyebrow at Emily, "Since when did you start siding with these two dorks? I thought we both agreed this racing thing is stupid."

Justin and Alex both dramatically gasped. I rolled my eyes and she smirked, "Yeah, that was before when these two dorks finally took me to one of these races and trust me Kathy, it was awesome. You'll have to see it to believe me."

I gave her a tight smile, "I would rather get run over by one of those stupid racing cars."

Justin shakes his head, "Buttercup why don't you give it a chance? You never know maybe you'll actually enjoy it and just like Em you'll be begging us to take you to this 'stupid' races."

"Join us. Be one of us." Alex spoke in a robotic tone.

"You probably brainwashed Em but not me. If you force me to go with you I'll make sure your night goes miserably."

Alex smirked, "Oh but we didn't brainwash Em because we didn't have to." Justin continued, "When she saw how fun it was seeing all the cute guys and specially the king, she was already making plans with us to go see next race before we even left."

Em was grinning and nodding like a little girl. I rolled my eyes and looked at them in confusion, "The king? Who the hell is the king?"

The three stooges looked at each other with a huge smile on their faces before they turned to me. They had a look that was taunting me like we got you now sucker.

I crossed my arm waiting for them to tell me but instead they all got in the car.

My eyes got wide, "Hey! what the- where are you guys going?"

Em smirked, "I thought you wanted to know about the king? Come we'll tell you."

I narrowed my eyes, "Is this a trick to get me to g-"

"Just get in the fucking car Katherine." Justin interrupted me and yelled.

I groaned as I got in the car and we drove off. As we were driving to this stupid race, I was looking out the window thinking about how I would have been in bed right now cuddling my pillow. I miss my bed.

I was brought back to reality when Emily kept repeating my name. I turned to her, "What?"

"Do you wanna know about the king or not?"
