*Two Day Before The Race*
"Oh my god Emily, If I say yes, will you please shut up?"
She giggled and nodded, "Yes."
She's going to get murdered by my hands. This girl does not know how to stop rambling when she gets obsessed about something.
"Alright fine."
She grinned, "Trust me Kathy you'll be amazed."
I rolled my eyes and walked over to a table and clean the tables. Don't get me wrong I love this girl to death but her obsession over stupid things drive me crazy.
Emily and I have been best friends since we were in diapers. We would always play with each other in the park. Even she's a year older than me, we started school at the same time. She knew every little thing about me and I knew everything about her.
Justin and Alex were our other two friends and are twins. We became friends with them in high school when they first moved here and ever since we've been called the fantastic four. They were identical twins but you could still tell the difference by seeing Alex had a visible birthmark mark on the side of his neck.
School was a place I liked going but one person made it hell for me. Every single day I would cry because how much he would bully me. I wasn't strong back then so I was never able to stand up for myself. My friends were always there for me and had my back.
Now I'll chew anyone brains out if they try anything with me.
My bully would always call me by a stupid pet name, I cringed every time and what made it worse that he was-
When I heard the door open my thoughts got interrupted as I jerked my head in that direction. I saw Hannah walking in, I shot her a smile, "Hey girl, you're early today. How are you feeling?"
She smiled back, "I just needed to get out of my apartment, I was cooped up in there for days thanks to your brother."
I smirked at her, "So I heard McSteamy has been making home visits as well, huh?"
She laughed, "You know it's nothing like that at all, your brother is just my beat friend and besides he's wayyyy out of my league." She mumbled the last few words, "I think every guy is."
I tilted my head staring at her with a confused look. I honestly do not know why she felt like this about herself because she's obviously the most beautiful and sweetest girl I've never met.
I got a little bit of idea about what she actually meant when she said that. Josh told me briefly about her condition and it honestly hurts my heart to see her like this. I've only known her for a few months but we've become close friends beside Josh specifically told me to keep an eye on her at work to see she doesn't work too much.
After what happened to her a few weeks ago, Josh told me everything what that stupid biker gang had been doing with her. I wanted to beat the shit out of that biker gang leader Nickolas.
I walked up to her and waved a hand, "Oh stop it, I'm his sister and I'm saying he'll be the luckiest guy to have a girl like you, heck any guy would be the luckiest."
She smiled wide, "You're very sweet Kathy."
I hugged her, "I'm glad you're doing better now and remember no working too much I've got eyes everywhere."
