10. Speaking About The Unexpected Events

CHAPTER #10

Zella's P.O.V

I woke up with the worlds worst head ache.

Was I having a hangover? But I didn't drink or did I?

I tried to remember what had happened yesterday.

I remember Zenith breaking his nose when his face slammed on the kitchen door at the bakery. That was hilarious. Then after that we went to Fennic's party. I remember Lauren and Pavel totally flirting with each other. That was cute.

Oh I remember Fennic flirting with me too. A smile creeped on my face as I lay on the bed remembering that.

Then I remembered talking with Zenith for a while. After that every thing was sort of blur.

There seemed to be dancing and a lot of giggles. Who was I dancing with?
It seemed to be Periwinkle but I wouldn't dance with him. Or did I?
I think did.

Shit

Did he get me drunk? But I don't remember him offering me a drink.

Trying to think harder to remember what had happened after that, a hazy image of Steve popped in my head, then a image of Steve making out with some girl.

I sat up on the bed so quickly that I got a head rush.

"how are u feeling?" Lauren's voice came from the other corner of the room where her bed was.

"pretty dizzy" I replied to her. "did I drink at some point last night?"

"um yeah. You kind of drank 2 to 3 glasses of the spiked drinks. Do u remember what happened last night?" she asked.

"yeah fragments of it. Did I kiss somebody?" I asked her as a memory of me being too close to someone's face came in my head.

"not that I know of" she replied and then looked at me as though she was waiting for me to remember something else.

"what? " I questioned the look she was giving me.

"do you remember Steve being at the party and the whole drama after that?" she asked me.

I froze.

She met Steve too? I thought that was my imagination. And there was a drama? Oh crap did she find out?

"what?" I said trying to sound innocent.

"Z I know and Pavel and Zenith know. We were there too, after you passed out on the road when you hit your head, he told us that you guys are no longer together." she said.

Great, even Pavel and Zenith know.
Hold on a second now, I hit my head?

"what? " I asked her again this time with confusion .

" I think the fall you took yesterday impaired your hearing too." she said.

"What?" why was I repeatedly repeating that word? It felt like I was in the character from grown ups movie.

Lauren got out of her bed and came over to mine and she sat in front of me.

"Z you are okay right?" she sounded a little concerned. "it might feel like a hangover but it might be concussion as well. You remember your childhood and all right? "

"I don't think I have concussion Lau, it's just last night's memory that I don't really remember and I think that was because of the alcohol not the fall which I don't remember by the way. Tell me in details what happened, I think remember dancing with Zenith and then bumping into Steve I guess." I was getting more confused the more I tried to remember what had happened.
