PROLOUGE

"Zella" Stacy called out my name. "Get up you sleepy head, mail's here"
"just shut up and let me sleep Stac" I groaned and coved my head with the blanket.
"Get up Z, c'mon" Stacy said and pulled the blanket.
"STACYYY, do you not know that you should never poke a sleeping dragon in the eye?" I shouted.
"But I didn't poke you in the eye!" Stacy protested.
"Yeah but you did take my blanket away, that is as important as my eye" I said and started chasing Stacy around my room.

I picked up my pillow and threw it across the room at her. "Ah ha you miss me" She said mocking me.

"Morning dad" I said breathlessly as I was chasing Stacy around the living room now.
"Morning" he said looking up from his iPad and giving both of us curious looks. "Why are you girls acting like teenagers??" he asked
I stopped in my tracks

"Dad I AM a TEENAGER!!" I reminded him "I am 18"

"But that doesn't count" he said.

"What's that suppose to mean?" I asked glaring at him. From the corner of my eye I saw Stacy open the main door of the house and head to the mail box. "What do you mean 'that doesn't count'? Eighteen has got 'TEEN' in it how can you say that doesn't count?"I asked him.

"Ok ok, you are a TEENAGER. Happy?" He said.
"Very" I said.
"But why are you chasing Stac around?" He asked
"Because she poked this sleeping dragon in the eye." I said pointing at myself.

"Stac you poked Z in the eye?" he asked

"No dad, I just woke her up by pulling the blanket" Stacy said as she entered back carrying a bunch on envelopes.

Dad looked back at me and raised an eyebrow.
"What? It means the same thing!" I said.
"Uh you are so dramatic Z" he said and buried himself back in his iPad.

"I am not," I muttered and turned around to go back to my room.

"hey dad, there seems to be a letter from a certain university. Do you happen to know who it is for? Because if it's not yours I'll throw it in the trash" Stacy said loudly do that I could it hear her.

I knew that letter was for me. I quickly ran back to the living room and snatched the letter from Stacy and glared at her. She is a twenty three year old doctor for god's sake, why doesn't she grow up and stop teasing me? From the moment I was born, she hasn't stop teasing me. Dad and mom told me that when Stacy saw me for the first time in the hospital she started making funny faces at me. No wonder she became a children's doctor, the kid inside her hasn't grown up yet.

I ripped open the envelope and read the first line.

"I've been accepted!" I shouted. Dad congratulated me and gave me a hug. Stacy was giving me a wide warm smile, which was really rare in her case.
