The New Program

Beep! Beep! Beep! ........
John pressed the snooze button on his alarm clock and got up after a whole night of sleep from yesterday's craziness. "Man I'm glad it's Friday " he exhaled.
Yesterday made John think he was crazy because he felt a surge from within then a flash of light that sent everyone down , he didn't know what to make of the memory. He muttered to himself "was I dreaming , but it felt so real" he couldn't help but wonder. Then suddenly he heard a loud yell "John get out off bed it's time for school" and instantly moms voice helped him put his thoughts away and he got ready for school.
Their house was nothing out of the ordinary it was a modest one story house in the suburbs of Denver and the Young family only had one kid so it was more than enough.

At breakfast John sat opposite to dad while mom was still finishing up the eggs . John had the his favorite cereal Kellogg's coco pops with warm milk while dad had tea. "Morning son" dad said in a firm but friendly voice "morning dad , morning mom " john replied . "You must be pretty hungry today considering you went to bed without dinner last night " mom said , "yap" John replied trying to avoid the topic. Mom then sat down and they had their breakfast as a family .
As they were eating dad started talking " so I got a call from your principle yesterday she said something about you be bullied at school " , mom shocked by the news said " are they bullying you ? Should we transfer you to another school ? " . "No no nothing like that happened , someone was being bullied and I stood for them that's it " John replied quickly , he hated the way his parents kept treating him like a doll and not a grown up . "Stood up against a bully ey ?" Dad asked in a sarcastic tone , "yes I did , don't you think I can?" John said angrily . Mom intervened " we are just worried about you John we'd hate to see you fall back after your treatment has come so far , you don't even have convulsions anymore " , on the last note john's face soured as memories from last night flooded in .
John got up took his bag and walked out of the room, "where are you going ?, you haven't finished your breakfast yet" mom asked worriedly , she did not like the John being upset especially with his condition it could have made things worse . " am going to school and am full " John replied as he slammed the door shut .

John was walking to school since he knew the trouble taking the bus would cause especially with last nights incident still in mind , he wasn't sure what he'd done but he was sure that there would be consequences to the event . " oh God what have I gotten myself into " he muttered as he was walking thinking of the pain of half of the basketball  team and Tyler's other friends beating him down . As he reached a junction he waited for the traffic lights to let him through  , when suddenly a blacked out van pulled up in front of him and two men wearing strange uniforms pulled him into the van . He struggled to get loose of their grips but they were too strong , they sprayed him with something and suddenly he was unconscious . The van drove off with John in it .

Later that evening

"Where the hell is that kid it's getting pretty late don't you think " mr young asked his wife,  "I don't know dear he's never this late " a worried Mrs. You g said it was already 0900 hrs and John was never this late  . " that's it I'm calling the school " mr young said "I'll call the psychologist just to check  " Mrs young added . They both went into frenzy with their phones calling everyone with a connection to their son .

After a half hour of calls and whole lot of worrying they both turned up with nothing but bad news. Apparently John hadn't attended school , the doctor didn't schedule an extra appointment and jasper hadn't heard anything from John since yesterday . A natural instinct had driven Mr Young to call the police and report their son as a missing person .
