Chapter 25:

Rain's P.O.V:

I woke up from the bed, again. I sat up as I heard walking up the stairs. I got off the bed to find myself with white panties and fresh bandages. I walked towards the mirror, I had bruises on my face, my skin was pale, my body looked so fragile, and my eyes their color was dim.

"So much for attractiveness," I turned to see Lucian staring at me, silently.

"This is awkward,"

"Lay down,"

"I feel better-,"

"Lay down," He spoke much more firmly and rough.

"Okay, calm-," My feet wavered. In a fraction of a second he carried me.

"Lucian?"

"Yes, Rain,"

"Thank you," He nodded and smiled.

"Why don't you ever say, You're welcome?" I asked as he laid me down on the bed.

"What do you think?"

"I'm not sure that's why I asked," He smirked and shook his head.

"Go to sleep , Rain," I nodded and dozed off to sleep.

*One week later*

"How do you feel?"

"I feel better,"

"Alright get up,"

"Okay," He pushed me onto the ground, I rolled over and stood up slowly.

"You're still injured,"

"Yeah, not that bad,"

He carried me down the stairs and laid me on a sofa.

"I need to tell you something important,"

"Like what?"

"Your parents,"

"What about them,"

"Your Mother is named, Alethia Heart and Your Father, I, am un-allowed to give you his first name."

"Just tell me,"

"No, I can't, moving on; Mr.Skies and Mrs.Heart have had a bumpy relationship, your mother an Arch-Angel and your father a Arch-Demon both mated for a purpose,"

"What was it?" I asked after a few seconds of silence.

"You, they wanted to create the perfect weapon, and it doesn't make sense now, but later on in your life it will."

"Did they plan it?" He stayed silent and lowered his head after my question. After a moment he raised his head.

"No, it was God's," I looked at him, if her was serious.

"You can't be,"

"I know,"

"Anything else,"

"I"m born to be your mate by your father,"

"You, My what.." I sat up.

"No, no lay down, don't be startled,"

"How could I not be, I'm freaking out inside,"

"Rain," He whispered my name.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you," I frowned at him.

"For what?"

I laughed and he did as well until I coughed up blood. He grabbed a napkin and wiped my chin.
