Clarke's POV

I sat in my cube typing away at my computer. Today was grey and cold. I stared out of the window to my left watching the heavy rain drops smack the window. I liked the rain. Its soothing. I turn my attention back to the large Apple computer typing and and clicking design idea's. I loved my job. Its the only thing in my life that makes me happy. "Ms Griffin?" The familiar voice broke my thoughts. "Yes." I replied. "Ms tridega would like a word with you." I smile and nodd standing to my feet and following Lexa's assistant.

On the way up we passed many Mini  billboards of lexa. She definitely was beautiful. Very sexy. Very intimidating...every photo I saw of her on the way up to her office, continued of blank expressions. Maybe not many noticed it, but she looks unhappy.

While we step into the elevator i thinkof such things. 'Shes a millionaire..'  I thought to myself. 'She's beautiful, smart has everything she could ask for..Why does she always seem angry or sad?'  I ask myself. But then again. Wasn't I the same? Don't I have everything I could ever ask for?

I was interrupted of my mental debate by the 'Ding' of the elevator telling us we're here.

I walked close behind Lexa's assistant as we turned the corner to her office. I could hear my heels tapping against the cold tile floor in Rhythm with the rain drops. The young red head whose name I remember to be 'Natalie' tapped on the door before opening it half way announcing our arrival. "Ms tridega ms Griffin is here." She saids. "Let her in." Lexa saids. I walk trough one of the two wooden doors and stood close to the entrance. This was not the first time I've been in her office, but it definitely did feel like that every time I was. The whole office was dark. The only light that was provided was from the grey fully clouded sky. I caught the back of lexa and watched her watch the view in front of her.

"tragic isn't it?" She asked

"tragic isn't it?" She asked. ""What is?" I responded. "Such An eventful day wasted on such horrible weather." She pauses. "I like it." She saids. Both of us not moving from out positions. "Lock the door." She saids breaking me out of my wondering eyes. I do as she saids then turn around back in the spot I was. She turns to look toward me giving me a full body view of her.
