"Okay from my not-so-good-seeing-as-how-I'm-gay opinion the girly cargos and flirty tanktop look better." Tyler said while he stretched across my bed.
"Kent?" I asked impatiently. "Which one?"
"I really couldn't tell you what makes guys find girls attractive," he drawled as my sister walked past my room.
"Ouu, I almost forgot," she squealed, "my little Katty is going on a date tonight." She winked at Tyler and Kent. Tyler wiggled his figures back in what would be a flirtatious manner if they weren't ragingly attracted to their own sexe. "Definitely the white sundress," she said aprraising the pile of clothes hald heartedly strewn across my bed. "It is the skimpiest thing in this pile. He'll definitely get a nice cleavage shot with that."
I bawked at her for a minute. "You make everything so awkward, Aud."
"How is pointing out that you have gorgeous little boobies awkward?" I gave her a pointed look. "Okay, okay, I guess I get it," she said getting up to leave the room. As I shut the door behind her, she pushed back, "Light colored underwear!"
"Bye, Aud," I said pushing the door with a bit more force.
"And wear heeled sandals!! Great for tripping and falling and landing into his well-muscled arms, then you can look up at him and he will lower his head which will lead to you guys sneaking back here to-"
"Bye, Aud," I said again, louder this time, and closed the door completely.
"She's right you know it really would compliment your best features," Tyler said holding up the dress and managing to make gestures of my boobs and butt.
"Do you want me to kick you out too?" I asked sharply.
"No," said Tyler trying not to giggle at my attempt of cross.
"Then calm your raging hormones," I muttered rolling my eyes.
"I'll just direct them towards someone who appreciates them." He leaned over and kissed Kent on the cheek and wrapped his arms around him. Kent let out a chuckle and returned the affection.
"Change the sheets when you're done," I muttered heading to the bathroom with the dress tucked under my arm.

"Hey," Ryan beemed as I slid into the passenger seat of his car.
"Hi," I said trying to act with way more confidence then I felt.
"You look great tonight," he told me tucking my hair behind my ear.
"So do you," I answered and that was pretty much it for the polite smalltalk on the way there. Since we clearly were having difficulties making conversation I decided to admire the interior decorating of his car for some clue as to what we could talk about all evening long but as it turned out that wasn't an issue, however, I'll tell you why when I get there. What I found was CDs, lots of them, scattered all over the floor in there shiny, plastic casings. There was also a couple scratch and win tickets, a box of cigarettes and an empty box of 'protection'. This last finding made me blush.
"We're here," he said after a long time of quiet driving. He came around and opened the door for me. He looked around for a second and then put his arm around me. "So listen. The actual fire part of all this doesn't start for another half-hour," he'd already told me he'd mistaken it for a BBQ when it was really a bonfire, "so I'm going to go find some people I need to talk to before that. I'll find you outside after, okay?"
"Can't I come with you?" I asked. Honestly, I was petrified of being left alone at a party. I'd never even been to one before.
Something shifted behind his eyes. "No, that'll take twice as long because then we will both have to wait in line for drinks after. Why don't you wait in line while I go talk and then we can meet up after?"
