Chapter 4: The Kidnapping

Skylar's P.O.V.

   BEEP

   BEEP

   BEEP

   "Ugh!" I groaned and buried my face in a pillow.

   "Sky? Wakey, wakey!" A familiar voice said.

   I took the pillow off my face and squinted my eyes. Violet was sitting quietly on a chair while Shinx was jumping up and down excitedly.

   "Hey guys," I smiled, while rubbing my eyes. "What are you doing here?"

   "Shinx and I have a day off and coincidentally, so do you." Violet explained as she changed into her human form.

   "Yeah! So hurry up! I wanna go see Leah at the daycare!" Shinx said as he changed into his human form.

   Shinx's half-human form was different during the day, than it was the night. Instead of black spiky hair, it was silky white, like mine when I transform into The Ninja Angel during night. His silky white hair had blue streaks instead of red.His shirt was blue on the front and white on the back. His wrist bands were white with blue lightning bolts. He also had white pants with a blue tinted at the end, also matching the same colours as his sneakers. He had a huge black collar with a red 'S', unlike the small white one from last night. His eye colour was now dark blue instead of blood red. His ears were white with blue tinted at the ends, just like his tail. Basically, all his colours inverted from black and red, to white and blue.

   Violet and I exchanged smirks.

   "Aww, does the wittle Shinxy-poo wanna go see his wittle girlfwiend?" I asked in a baby voice.

   "I think Shinxy and Leah would make the cutest wittle couple." Violet teased.

   Shinx blushed, protested. "Ew, why would I like her? She's a girl! She has cooties! And so do you! In fact, I question why I even hang out with girls."

   "Um hello? Did you just forget that we have a bond?"

   "... Oops, forgot." Shinx smirked, letting his fang stick out.

   I stretched my arms then sat up in my bed. I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and checked the time.

   9:57 a.m.

   "So where do you guys wanna go today?" I asked, "Other than the daycare."

   Shinx frowned, so I continued. "We'll go at the end of the day, I promise."

   "We could go to the park." Violet suggested.

   "Fans." Shinx said simply.

   "The mall?"

   "Fans."

   "Um... an ice cream shop?"

   Shinx and Skylar both thought about it before nodding.

   "Sure, I doubt there will be any fans there." Skylar said.

   "You still gotta be careful." Shinx warned. "You never know where fans could be hiding."

   "Yeah, yeah." I said waving my hand. "Don't get your tail in a twist."

   Shinx quickly grabbed his tail and held it to his chest while glaring at me. Violet chuckled while messing up Shinx's hair.

   "Hey! Quit it!" He said.

   "Well, I'm going to go get ready now."

   I walked into my bathroom and took a quick shower. After I got out, I opened the door just a bit and called out for Violet to hand me my clothes. After I got changed into a similar outfit that I wore yesterday, I brushed my teeth then walked out of the washroom. Shinx was bouncing up and down on the bed while Violet was playing a game on her phone. She glanced up at me and snap her fingers. Out of no where a gust of wind picked up and dried my hair in five seconds flat.
