I yawned and rubbed the sleep from my eyes, detaching myself from Asha, who had her leg on top of mine and her arm draped in front of her.
I looked around the room and all the people on the floor; somewhat looking like dead bodies.
Peering over at Asha's bed, I see two equally small people, cuddling comfortably.
Louis was the big spoon, his arm wrapped around Lauren's waist, hugging her close to him with a stupid grin on his face that made me question whether he was awake or asleep.
I trudged over to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of cold water from the fridge, wincing at the pain in my temple.
"Ughh," A loud groan erupted from the ground and Luke sat up, rubbing his neck. "Remind me never to sleep on your floor ever again?"
I nodded. "You right?"
"Yeah, I'm good, it's just," he put his head to his shoulder, stretching out his neck and let out a low whistle, "Goddamn."
"I did warn you." I raised an eyebrow at him.
"I don't remember that." He frowned. "I don't even remember discussing sleeping here."
"Oh, that's right," I came to a sudden realisation, "You were already passed out on the ground."
"What's for breakfast?" He looked over my shoulder at the empty kitchen.
I scoffed. "You expect me to cook?"
"No," Luke shrugged, "I can cook if you like."
"Do not let him cook," A muffled voice echoed from the ground and Mike rolled over with quite the glare plastered on his face.
I widened my eyes, "Woah, who invited Grumpy?"
Mike grunted, throwing the blanket off of him violently, resulting in Niall's blanket being ripped away too.
"What the fuck?" Niall chorused, pulling the blanket towards him.
"No." Mike pulled the blanket back, "If I can't have a doona, then no one can."
"The fuck is a doona?" Niall frowned, resembling a tired, golden retriever puppy.
"It's a 'duvet'," Mike rang out, "For all you fancy people who don't know much Aussie slang."
"You're not even saying it right," Niall shook his head. "It's not pronounced 'doo-vet' it's pronounced 'doo-vay'."
"Whatever," Mike waved him off. "It'll always be a doona to me, mate." He walked over to the kitchen and rubbed his hands together, "So, what's for brekkie?"
I narrowed my eyes at him and murmured, "Is it just me or is he acting more Australian than usual?" under my breath to Luke.
He mimicked my expression before turning to look at Mike, "Dunno. We're just deciding who's cooking."
"Hey, I can cook!" Louis piped up from Asha's bed, Lauren's head laid on his bare chest, but her eyes were open.
Niall lifted his head up, "Louis? Are you all better now?"
"Yeah, Neil. I'm alrigh'." Louis nodded, smiling at Niall from across the room.
"So, Louis, what exactly can you cook?" I asked, leaning against the pale bench.
"Haz taught me how to make pancakes." He smiled to himself, as if reliving the memory in his head.
"Well, I'm sold." I shrugged, gesturing for Louis to enter the tiny kitchen, "Here's to hoping we have the right ingredients."
