CHAPTER 2

I woke up at 10:00 o’clock in the morning. I tired to move my arms but the bruise had gotten bigger and they got bigger on my legs to. I was walking very slowly around the house. I had sweats and a tank top on with a jacket over it to cover the bruise. I was just walking into the kitchen when the there was a knock at the back door. I looked to see who it was and was surprised to see my uncle who is Brain’s dad my dad’s brother. I walked to the door as quickly as I could and opened the door. He walked in but he didn’t sit down. He had a file in his hand and he set it down on the kitchen table

“I needed to come over and see if you are okay but I can see that you are not okay”, Bob said as he turned and looked at me.

“I’m fine and I know that is not the only reason you came over here, what’s in the file”, I said as I walked over to the kitchen table and sat down on a chair.

“Tell me what happened first then I will tell you what is in the file”, Bob said as he pulled a chair up in front of me.

“If I tell what happened you can’t tell Brain or Zack just keep it to yourself, I will tell them when I feel strong enough”, I said as uncle Bob put a hand on my shaking hand.

“Okay, start with when you got off the fair”, Bob said as I looked into his eyes.
