 CHAPTER 7

I was laying down on my bed sleeping when I heard my phone start to ring. I got it and looked at the caller idea. When I saw that it was Zack I hung up the phone and tossed it on the floor and went to sleep.

I woke up the next morning to my phone going off. I got up and got it and it was Mac calling me.

“Hello”, I said as I looked at my clock and it was 10:30. I had to teach surfing at 11:00. So I rushed around getting a bag put together.

“Ripley can you come to the station for me”, Mac said as I fixed a cup of coffee.

“No I can’t. I have to get to the beach see you later”, I said as I hung up the phone without waiting for him to respond.

I went to my bedroom and changed into my bathing suit. Grabbed my surfing board and lift. I got to the beach about 10 minutes  later  and decide to go surfing until my class got here. When I got out of the water I saw Zack sitting down next to my towel and just looking at me.

“What do you want”, I said as I sat down to put my hair up while I waited for my class to get ready.

“I just wanted to see if you were okay”, Zack said as I saw Jasmine. She is my partner’s daughter  running to me.

“Look I’ll come by tonight after I get back from work and then we can talk”, I said as I got up and grabbed Jasmine up in a big bear hug.

“Hi Mike I’ll see you later”, I said as Mike saw Zack and started to walk to him

“Jasmine can you show me what I taught you last time we had class”, I said as I knelled on the sand while she got on her board which was on the sand and showed me what I showed her.

“Hi Zack”, Mike said as he sat down by Zack on my towel and just watched me.

“Hi, I don’t feel right letting Ripley go back to work. She just got out of the hospital two days ago”, Zack said as Mac sat down on Zack’s other side and just looked at me and how my body looked in my bikini.

“Hi”, Mac said as Jasmine picked up her board and set it in the water and I went and got my board and put it in the water.

“I love watching Jasmine surf. She’s getting so good at it”, Mike said as I helped Jasmine onto her board.

“How long has Ripley been teaching surfing”, Mac asked as Jasmine fell off her surf board but got right back on.

“She started it 3 years ago”, Zack said as me and Jasmine started to paddle out to a wave.

“She’s really good at it”, Mac said as me and Jasmine started to surf a really big wave.

“Didn’t you and her used to go surfing when she was in high school and in collage”, Zack asked as I thought  Jasmine something and showed it to her and watched her do it.

“Yes we did but I’m not that good any more”, Mac said as me and Jasmine came back on the beach and learned how to do a trick before we went back in the water.

“You could have Ripley teach you how to do it again”, Zack said as they all started to laugh.

“What are you guys laughing at, daddy”, Jasmine said as me and her walked back to them because the class was over for the day.

“Nothing, how did you do, sweetie”, Mike asked as I dried myself off.

“She did great. How about she comes back here next Saturday around 2:30 for surfing”, I said and I wrap the tallow around my waist.

“Okay, say goodbye to Ripley sweetie”, Mike said to Jasmine.

“Goodbye Rip. See you next Saturday”, Jasmine said as she and Mike left.

“So are you still going to work tonight”, Mac asked as I sat down between Zack and Mac.

“Yes I am. I’ll get off around 8:00 o’clock and then I’m going over to Zack’s to talk. Should I tell you what I’m doing tomorrow to”, I said to Zack as I got up and got my stuff together.

“Ripley we just want to make sure that you are okay that’s all”, Zack said as he and Mac got up and followed me to my car.

“I’ll be over around 8:30 okay. I love you Zack see you”, I said as I opened the car door and Zack went and got in his car and drove away.

“I’m coming over around 9:30 and there is nothing you can say about it”, Mac said as he went and got in his car and drove away.

I got to work and Brain was there talking to Mike. I worked for a while and then I looked at the clock at it was 8:00 o’clock and it was time leave and go to Zack. I got up from my desk grabbed my coat and was putting it on when Mike walked over to my desk.

“I’ll walk you to your car”, Mike said as he opened the door for me.

“Why are you walking me to my car Mike”, I ask because he never did it before.

“I just wanted to that’s all”, Mike said as he opened my car door for me.

“Okay see you Monday”, I said as I got in the car and drove to Zack’s place.
