Chevalier's POV

"Ho fatto del mio meglio papà. Non preoccuparti" I told to Luciano as I rubbed my temples hard

"Chevalier we have no more time to lose!" he shouted

"I know just give me time.." I reassured to him and sigh heavily

I need to calm down.. Before I say things that I'm surely would lead me into trouble

"I'll dore un' altra settimana. Ese non è possibile dato a me. I'll essere colui che farlo" he gritted through his teeth "Prendilo!" He shouted

"Sí, mis dispiance papà" with that he hung up the phone.

" I think Luciano Genovese SR. is really mad at you brother" Rico teased me as he yawn

"Shut up! I don't know why she still can't trust me" I brushed my fingers in my hair in frustration

"You need a planned B. And let me do that" he grinned and winked at me

Tallandra's POV

After the incident in school principal Mariano , let me rest for few days.
My bruises are healing fast so maybe next day I'm going back to school again

" Tal can I talk to you?" I was eating a bowl of chips while watching movies when Jey knocked on my door

"Sure" I smiled to him and placed the bowl to my bedside table he walked towards to me and lay beside me

He licked his lips and looked at me sadly" I'm sorry Tallandra I wasn't there to protect you when you needed-" I broke his sentence by hugging him tightly

"You don't need to be sorry Jey" I mumbled

"But I didn't do anything" he said as he broke from the hug I pulled him to

"That's the thing you didn't do anything because you don't know"

"I understand Jey all this time you always protect me. I know you always do, and I'm proud to have a brother like you" I pecked his cheeks and rubbed my fingers in his jaw where there was a few stubble growing. He smiled to me sweetly and kissed my forehead

"Jey?"

"Hmm?"

I was battling in myself if I should tell him about Chevalier

And I decided against it

I should stop depending on him

This is my problems. And they shouldn't be involved

"I'm sorry"I whisper

"Sorry for what?" He frown and look into my eyes

"For depending at you all the time"

"Stop being a drama queen Tal, you're my sister of course it's my obligation to protect you" he patted my head and chuckled

"I'm not!" I playfully glared at him

"Come on, get your ass up we're going somewhere" he said as he stand up and made his way through the door

"Why? Where?" I looked at him in confusion

"Because you look so pale, you need to get outside!" I unconsciously started to look at my skin. And yes, he's right my skin color is paler than my real ones

We made our way through Mc Donalds and we only walk since it was a couple of blocks from house. Jey holds my hand and I smiled at him. As we entered in the store I roamed my eyes around it and stopped when I saw a familiar dirty blond hair at the counter ordering something
