Chapter10: my job?

"Is she okay?" I heard Chev's voice as I'd tried to open my eyes. My body felt hurts but the worst is my back and my stomach. Then I remembered what had happened.

Shit

My panic attacks again

I'm breathing hard as I crumpled the bed sheet.

I tried to calm my self but it's just getting worse

"Tallandra?" Chevalier came over me and hold my face
"Are you okay Baby??"

"Pa-ni—ck... -Ttacts.."

"Shit.. Doctor!!!!" He shouted. The doctor came over us and tried his best to calmed me

-- minutes later--

"Okay, just calm yourself Tally everything is gonna be alright."

"Thanks doc." I gave him a small smile

"By the way, you need to rest yourself and drink this medicine. And you'll be fine as soon as possible" I nodded at him and then I realize I'm not in the school

Where am I?

The room was nice but small. It was painted in baby blue, black and white. The bed smells like Chevalier..

Wait..

Am I resting in his room?

I look at Chev who looked so worried about me and pretty tired. He hold a tray with water and some medicine

"Chev?" I whisper

"Do you need anything Tallandra?" He said as he came closer to me and hold my hand. And I let him

"No, Thank you for saving me" I squeeze his hand and he smiled weakly and brush my hair away to my face. I saw a guilt in his eyes

"I promise that won't happened again baby.." Before when he calling me baby or babe I am getting irritate but now that I heard, sincerity in his voice it made me calm.

"Why did you want me to come in the garden?" I asked

"What? No, I didn't?" he looked so confused

"But you wrote it in the paper. You said only 5 minutes and then-"

"Tal I didn't" he frown

"Good fûck... Maybe it's the guy who wanted to kidnapped me"

"Hey.. Tally I promised that won't happened again. Okay? take some rest baby"

"But I just got awake"

"You heard the doctor right?" He glared at me and I rolled my eyes

"Fine. Thank you Chev"

"Stop saying thank you to me.. Okay? It's my job to protect you" he smiled and rub my cheeks

"Your job?" I asked looked at him incredibly

"Yep.. Cause you're my girlfriend" he winked at me and I frown

"Chevalier why?"

"Why, what?"

"I'm not your girlfriend. Okay?" muscles in his jaw tighten as he glared at me

"You are!. Dont you want me to be your boyfriend!?"

"I... No.. Yes.. I don't know, I don't know who you are" I lowered my gaze
"And.. Now I'm in the bed of stranger. You are a stranger to me Chev, I'm sorry"

"We can make things okay between us Tally. I wanted you and I'll do everything to have your trust"

"Chev stop"

"Why? Why are you keep pushing me away?"

"Because you just make things worse" I lowered my head didn't bother to look at him

"Tallandra look at me" when I did not he lifted my chin up his eyes where burning on me
"Remember before it gets better, it always gets worse first"

I don't understand what he wanted to say but I just nod and he stands up and leave me
