Ethan's Pov

I had been awake the whole thing. Hearing Liz scream and moan. God I never wanted to kill anyone more... I wanted to scream at Liz when I saw her again and tell her the truth about him. I couldn't though all I could do was stare at the marks all over her. Liz was standing there speechless she quickly mustered up the words "I-I made food" and forced a smile. I nodded and grabbed a plate duke woke up as well. He walked to liz and kissed her cheek. "Mornin' love." My blood boiled "I made breakfast" liz said handing duke a plate "I'm going to go pick some berries a want to make a pie so I'll be back later" liz grabbed a basket and headed out. Duke smiled at Me "alone at last eh?" I growled "I know what you are...I know what your here to do" duke frowned "is someone grumpy that I beat them to liz? I'm going to get that heart before you even if it means I have to kill her" duke laughed saying "and when I get it I can become human again.." My hands lit up slightly and I went to punch duke but he doges and grabbed me throwing me to the ground. "jealous?" He smiled. "Let go of me!" I yelled out for liz but she was far gone by now. "I will rip you apart piece by piece if you don't stay out of my way Ethan" he let go of me I growled on the ground getting up. Duke was way more well built than me I'm all scrawny but the one thing I refuse to let him do I get that heart by killing liz... "If you hurt her I will kill you" I growled duke went to grab me but I growled and an orb formed around me and his hand flew back shattering into shards it instantly went back to normal and duke growled "If there is any justice in this world, you will die alone, you stupid shadow..." I walked off pissed off and waited Liz to return but she never did... It was about 6 in the morning a whole day has passed and still no Liz. I got up and decided to go look for her. Duke was asleep on the couch. I walked along to where te berries of the Forrest were no signs of Liz though. I found a boot and basket on the ground...it was liz's I gasped and growled running back to duke "SOME ONE TOOK LIZ SHES BEEN KIDNAPPED !" He jolted awake

Liz's pov

I left to pick berries. Probably a bad idea since I'd be leaving Ethan and duke alone...I hope they don't rip each others throats out. I had a fun time picking the berries, I got blue berries strawberries black berries cherries! Everything! This is going to be an amazing pie. I bent down to pick up my basket and felt a heavy blow to my head. All I saw was darkness... I woke up a while later tied to something and blind folded I did my best to get off the blind fold but it was no use I yelled out loudly for help but all I heard was a door open and slam closed "no one can hear you so shut up" a harsh voice said with a bit of rasp. My blindfold was taken off. I was in some room with bright lights a cold metal table and a ton of horrible looking weapons and things there were chains on the walls whips guns...I got goose bumps. I looked at the man who had been talking he seemed to be in his mid twenties "who are you and what do you want with me?" I asked horrified "I'm James..call me jt, I want your heart I that wasn't obvious and if you won't willingly give it to me I'm going to kill you" he laughed and I shivered he untied my arms and lifted me from the ground he brought me to a table and handcuffed me there. "So are you going to give me the heart?" I shivered still horrified "I-I don't k-know how" "likely story...looks like you need some convincing" he laughed and went to a rack of knives he took one down and smiled he walked to me and pressed it to my side "gona give me it now?" I began to tear up "I-I don't know how!" He ran the knife down my side just grazing me and left a cut I felt cold years now streaming down my face. "How about thi then..." He took the knife and ran it down my jeans cutting them away. "P-please don't." I begged he only laughed and pulled away my pants he rides me of my clothing "your buddies will be here soon enough you know...unless you want them to see this then I'd hurry up and give me the heart. He set aside the knife and leaned over me he had sharp teeth and dug them deep into my skin buying me all over I choked back a moan but let it slide out by accident "p-please...s-stop" the man laughed "not until I get that heart of yours..." He unhooked my arms from the table and moved me to the wall aggressively he forced me down to my knees and took off his own pants. ((R-a-p-e scene if you don't like skip till I say it's safe lol)) I keeps my mouth shut tightly as he pressed his member to my lips and forced my mouth open tried to pull back but he held his hand on the back of my head "to late late now sweetie ... When I'm done your gonna wish you gave me that heart willingly..." He forced my head back and forth. He moved my head faster and faster until his seed filled my mouth. He finally let go of my head and I gasped for air coughing. "Y-you'll never get my heart asshole..." He smiled and grabbed a knife he held it to my chest and pushed down dragging it along me I howled in pain. I felt blood trickle down me he grabbed alcohol and poured it down the cuts making them burn I cried out tears streaming down my face he then grabbed me and pinned me to the wall I avoided eye contact and whimpered as he forced his length inside me. He was huge so it was super painful going in at once. I whimpered and cried out more as he thrusted in and out. I trie to swing my leg around to push him away but ended up kicking him he pulled out and stopped growling he spit blood and a tooth to the side and left he returned with chains and a whip he chained my feet down now and left me pinned on the wall he reinserted himself into me and finished releasing inside of me
((Your safe my dear readers read away!)) he backed away with a smug smile and lashed me several times with the whip "E-ETHAN! DUKE!" I yelled out crying but began to lose hope. No one could hear me it was hopeless. He continue to lash me until I'd finally given up. I let the chains on my arms hold me up u kept my head down as he continued "j-just kill me and take my heart..." He smiled "what's the fun in that" I heard a door and someone talk I was to hurt to look up "sir...James some one is here for you" James growled and handed the man the whip "take over for me" the man then came in and stared at me "oh dear...I'm so sorry...." Sai the man as he whipped me now about ten times harder than James had done he did his best not to look at me I heard James talking near te door. "I WONT ALLOW YOU IN THERE I WILL SUE YOU! BACK UP!" The man lashed me several more times the door flew open then slammed shut locking there was banging at the door I looked up as James grabbed a knife he rides of the chains and lifted me up the door flew open and I felt a sharp pain into my heart and screamed I gave into the pain passing out due to pain and blood loss.

Ethan's pov
I rushed in running into a man by the name of James he had a nice sized place, liz was here I could feel it his guard answered the door and left to go get James a man with blonde medium length hair sweaty and shirtless answered the door he had a tattoo on him that said shadow hunter in bold black ink and a knife tattoo on his neck and a crossed daggers on his back he welcomed us in and me and duke looked around w aproached a door that seemed to lea down stairs and the man blocked us yelling he will sue us for trust passing and we had to leave now duke grabbed the man but his hand fell right through him and he hissed "idiot leave now or else I'll kill both of you shadows..." He ran into the room we banged on the door and knocked it down when we got in we saw liz and James a knife was jammed into her heart w slid out the knife and a light glowed as he pulled out the knife liz was lifeless and a white rainbowish heart came out from where her wound was James grabbed it as we rushed to him and the heart turned black a black most began to swallow up James's hand he screamed and tried to pull away he yelled and teleported away the heart floated back into liz and the knife slid out. I ran to her and checked for a pulse. She had one but slow she was bleeding all over and where she had been stabbed had scared and left a like across where her heart was we grabbed her and rushed off back home we bandaged her up. She ha whip marks all over her and open gashes. We tended to her wounds and did our best to stop any bleeding she seemed to start to awake "e-Ethan" her soft voice called out. I walked up to her and her forgetting about her wounds put her arms around me hugging me. "T-thank you.." Duke pouted and was going to say something but hook his head. I nodded "you should stay in bed a few days until your scars don't hurt as bad anymore" she nodded "w-what happened to James and all...?" Ethan blinked "h-he's still alive....you got rid o him not us..." She seemed a little confused but I couldn't tell her right now I will wait until she feels better. I guess this makes getting her heart harder. If it's not the right person....then your dead. Duke carried Liz gently to her bedroom. I sat in the living room thinking about how to find James...I will get revenge for what he did to her. He's safe for now but if I see him ever again he's dead. There was a knock on the door I went into shadow mode and became a shadow in the dark duke got the door it was a man with a poster with my face on it "have you seen this freak? It's a 100.000.000$ reward! Duke blinked and sighed he shook his head "no but I'll keep my eye out" the town people left and duke walked up to me "what did you do to piss them off?" "I didn't do anything!" It must have been James. He is a shadow hunter, he has the ability to shape shift. I should have known something like this would happen. I growled "go stay close to liz and guard her with your life I'll guard down here...we have to protect her until she chooses one of us."
