Right on Time

Chapter 3

💐Lexi's POV💐

There are some mornings where you feel like a new person. The sun shining, birds chirping, you stretch your arms and is rejuvenated.

Then there are some mornings where you question your existence. You wake up with bed hair,feel disorientated , nothing makes sense and you have to go to school.

That was the kind of morning I was feeling. I stare though blurry eyes at the clock on my bedside table. It read 7.30. Hmm....7.30.....7.30.....7.30..hold up 7.30? Shit ! I am late!

I ran to the toilet and in 10 minutes flat am able to get easy to go to school.

As I was running down the stairs, I tripped and fell flat on my face . Standing up, I silently curse at the stairs.

Stupid stairs , do you have to make me more late then I already am.

Cursing at the stairs, real mature Lexi.

Shut up, I am late don't you know.

Course I do , after all I am you but just in your head.

And then I realized I was arguing with my conscience. Real smooth.

I ran past the kitchen only to see Calvin calmly drinking a glass of water.

Confused ,I asked"hey aren't you supposed to be in school by now?" Calvin turned around and started laughing . I glanced behind him at the clock hanging on the kitchen wall.

7 a.m

"You changed the time on my clock?" I shouted. At that Calvin decided that he couldn't keep his dignity and started rolling around the floor.

"Don't blame me! You wouldn't wake up if I hadn't done that!" He tried defending.

"I am supposed to be in school by 7.30! You know what you can hitch a ride from one of your lady friends"

With that, I turned around and stormed out of the house. As I was about to start the engine to my truck, Calvin came running out of the house.

He started begging me to let him in.Calvin knew how to drive but did not own a car. And being the caring sister I am I decided not to lend him one of the cars I fixed up. Mainly for two reason. The first is that I don't want him to know about the warehouse and go running his mouth to everyone in school. And second cause I am overly protective of my baby.

Finally I agreed to let him in after he started threatening to moon anyone who he walks by on the way to school if I don't let him in.

Calvin might be an idiot but he is a too-brave-idiot. I don't need old ladies fainting on their way to chess club.

Skip to when they are at school

"Sup man!" Brad , Calvin's best friend yelled.

"Yo!" My idiotic brother yelled back before tearing across the parking lot to Brad .

I shook my head in disgust.

Boys. The hardest creature on earth to understand .

I calmly walked into school and to my locker when Belladonna showed up.

She started updating me on the things that went on in her life over the weekend. Stuff that is irreverent to my life.

As I was about to leave, nails suddenly clawed into my shoulder. I shook the off in discomfort bit they wouldn't come off. I glanced over at Belladonna and saw her face deathly pale. That's when I saw Sean. Her ex-boyfriend. And he was walking towards us .

Sean and Bella(Belladonna)were the star couple. They went out for five months and they were in love. Then one night they were supposed to go out to a party at one of the student's house but Sean was sick so Bella went by herself without telling Sean. Bella was faithful to Sean and didn't dance with anyone else . She had to go to the toilet and since she didn't know where it was she started opening up doors . The first one she opened she saw Sean and Saphrin. Naked. On the floor. It wasn't hard to put together two and two. Bella would say Sean was drunk but he wasn't. He just carried on doing whatever he was doing to Saphrin and did it in front of Bella knowing she was there and didn't care. He even said that he never loved her and just used her. Bella was never quite the same.

And now seeing him walk towards us like nothing happened made me furious. I stood in front of Bella.

"Hey, Lexi. Belladonna." He said so flippantly .

How dare he just come here and talk to Bella like that.

"Hey Bella I think I hear a fly buzzing around us care to leave." I said ,still fuming.

"Why yes thank you." Bella said catching on to me real quick.

See that's why we're friends.

I thought it was because she was nice to me at the beginning of school.

Nah. This is why.

Okay if you say so.

I am your conscience idiot.

That's right I was arguing with my conscience. More recently than normal.

Anyway, I linked arms with Bella and walked away totally ignoring Sean. Hahaha. Just look at that face. It was so hilarious. The perfect mix of astonishment and anger.

Just then the bell rang. Time for Physics.

"Okay class you will be given a project now don't whine," Miss menon said while scolding some of the lazy people,"you will be working in pairs and I will assign the pairs."

Great. Another project where I do all the work while my partner lazes around.

"Trinity and Chloe"

"Josh and Ashley."

"Alexia and Jesse."

Wait,what?

That's when I realized that Jesse was in the same class as me. I saw him wink at me from across the room and caught the few dirty glares that were being sent my way by the sluts in the room.

I felt like yelling" it's not my fault I got paired up with this d-bag so stop with the looks." But of course being the good girl I am I kept my mouth shut.

Huh. I guess I really am doing this project on my own. Guess I will have to postpone my races.

Sigh......

So now everyone knows Bella back story. Muahaha. I am so evil. Sorry I'd this chappie is very uneventful. I promise the next chapter will have a bit of drama between the two lovebirds.
