"So where do you want to do the project?"

He chuckled.

Jesse freaking chuckled.

If I could throw an anvil at his face I would.

"How about my house?" He offered.

How about I to the n to the no no no. My god meghan what are doing to me?

"Umm okay I guess . Saturday your house at 2 is that okay?" I asked. I was actually suprised. Most people would not even say one word to me and leave me to do all the work.

"Yeah that works"

Thank god . Saturday is the only day I don't race.

Just then the class bell rang.

Thank goodness.

Skip to after school.

I was just walking out of school when I saw Calvin hanging out of the window on my car.

Oh hell no.

" Since you are my favourite sibling, I decided to return the favor you did for me this morning."

And with that Calvin drove off, leaving a very angry sister glaring at the back of the red vehicle.

Guess I am walking home. Thanks god it is only a thirty minutes walk away.

The sun why do you hate me so much. I knelt down on the ground and beg the sun to stop baring it's deadly rays at me.

Kidding but I was suffering. Sweat was forming on my forehead.

Just then a yellow Ferrari drove up to me.

"Do you need a ride?" Jesse said.

Sigh. Why is it whenever I don't need anyone to see me he comes along.

Don't ask me I am just your conscience maybe this is just the course of nature.

Anyway I ignored Jesse and continued walking.

"Are you sure?" No reply. "Very sure?" No reply. "Don't say I didn't warn you." And he drive off. Thank god. Wait. I still have to walk.

Skip to when Lexi's is home.

"You piece of shit!"

Who shouted that?

Well I did.

"I am not deaf!" Was my reply that came from the basement a.k.a. my bedroom.

I stormed into my room and started shouting again "I swear if y-"

I stop short because Slanen, Calvin's other best friend and my crush since I was fifteen,was there. If there was anything more horrifying than finding your crush in your bedroom that has not been cleaned in while I do not want to know.

"Hi-hi Sl-sla-Slanen." I stammered out. Geez, girl get a grip.

"Hey. Lexi right?" He asked. I swear those blues eyes are so captivating. I nodded a bit to excitedly.

Great now he will think you are an idiot.

I am an awesome voice in your head that you have been arguing with foe a while. Pay attention.

Then Calvin had to interrupt.

"Bro ,lets bounce. I wanna get some food." Clavin said and they both left,leaving me standing alone in my room,stunned.

Did I just have a conversation with Slanen.

It was a two sentence conversation.

Skip to school the next day.

Today was a normal day so far. I mean my life has always been plain and boring ......and normal. I was leaning back in my seat when the door busted open.

"May please I see Alexia ?" Mdm Wallace,the principle,asked.

Immediately,all eyes went to me. I silently stood up and walked to the door. Behind me,silent murmurs of whispered theories as tp why I was being called ,echoed around the room.

"Mdm Wallace , whatever you thought I did ,I didn't do it." I pleaded my innocence in the way to the principle's office.

"Oh no dear, you are not in trouble." She said. Relief washed over me. Then confusion settled in.

"You see,we have a new student here and u would like it if you could show him the ropes since you are a straight A's student ,I suppose there would be no problem skipping a few of your classes."

That's new.

You idiot,a once in a lifetime opportunity to skip lessons and you are wondering why you are being asked.

Sorry,I just never did this before.

Arguing with my conscience has got to stop. I looked at Mdm Wallace , blinked twice , then agreed.

"Great he will be here on Friday ."

"Okay I will meet him here in the morning."

And with that I was sent back to my class.

"OMG!!! I could kill you!!"

I was talking to Bella on the phone and laid on my bed. I had to call her to tell her about what is gonna happen on Friday. What a bad friend I would be if I didn't.

"Can I come? I wanna see how hit he is.Do you know his name? Where did he come from? Details woman,details." Bella screamed into the phone.

"Yes,no and no. I don't know anything about him. He could be a serial killer." I said.

"Oh please as if he killed a person and now he is studying in this school." Bella snorted.

"You do have a point."

"Honey I always do."

"Sure...."

"What's that supposed to m-"

"Bye!"

"Don't you dare hang up. Lexi I will ki-"

She was cutoff by me pressing the end call button. I threw my phone on the bed and put my arm across my eyes. Seriously , sometimes I get a migraine listening to that woman. I slept semi well that night. I kept on thinking about the new kid. Will the school accept him? Will he become popular immediately ? What will his title be? Questions bombarded my head. I can only hope for the best.
