~Zoey's POV~
Ugh! I'm so happy that today is Friday. We don't have to wake up early tomorrow. Thank god. I looked at my phone to see the time. It was 7:45 am. I got up and took a quick shower. Once I got out, I picked an outfit for the day. I decided to wear Luke's nirvana shirt with ripped black skinny jeans and my black vans. I also decided to wear a beanie and a flannel cause why not. When I was done picking an outfit, I texted Elizabeth.
Zoey👑:Hey. You ready?
Liza🙈:Yeah
Zoey👑:Alright I'll be there in 20.
Liza🙈:I'll be waiting.
"Zoey are you awake yet?" I hear Luke knock on my door. I open the door and I noticed something different about him. "Do I look okay?" He asked. "You look more than okay. Who are you trying to impress?" I asked curiously. "No one.." He replied. I knew my brother had a thing for my best friend. He always liked her since middle school. "Well..at least you look nice enough for Elizabeth." "Thank yo- wait what?! How do you know??" "Luke I know you like her." "Ugh fine. I'm dressing nice so she can notice me." He got up from my bed and left my room. "Hurry up! I texted the boys that we'll be waiting for them at school," he yelled from his room. "Okay." I replied. I went back to my bathroom and applied makeup on. The only thing I put on was lipstick, eye liner, mascara, and a bit of blush. I didn't like putting to much makeup on. So that's all I would put. Once I was done putting my makeup, I got my backpack and my phone and walked out of my room, closing the door behind me. "I'm gonna eat a quick breakfast" I said to myself. I went downstairs and made myself a quick vegemite sandwich with a strawberry banana smoothie. 5 minutes later, I was done and I washed the dishes. "Luke lets go. I have to go pick up Elizabeth," I yell. "Coming!" I grabbed the keys from the counter and got my things. "C'mon! Let's go!" What's taking him so long? "Just start the car. I'll be there in a minute." Wow. Just wow. And I thought I took forever. I went outside and started the car. A minute later, Luke comes outside. "Finally!" I sigh in relief. "Alright let's go pick up my girlfriend." I looked at him weirdly and before I could say anything, he said, "I said that out loud..didn't I?" "Yes. Yes you did," I replied. "Let's just go pick her up." He said.
~10 minutes later~
"What took you guys so long?" Elizabeth asked while getting in the car. "Luke took forever getting ready." I simply replied. "But he never takes so long." "I wanted to dress up nice today," he said. She just nodded and said, "Well you do look nice today Luke." I turned to see Luke blushing. "Uh..oh..thanks!" "Loser." I said to myself. After that little conversation, we were heading towards school.
