An hour later, I'm still laughing at what Harry had said, about Jace being Rumor's dad.

"What is a movie you haven't seen before that you want to see?" Liam asks me.

"I've never seen Titanic," I reply.

"She's also never seen Toy Story!" Rumor shouts across the room.

"WHAT!? YOU'VE NEVER SEEN TOY STORY!?" he screams, "YOU NEED TO SEE IT! NOW!"

"I'd rather see Titanic..."

"We'll watch Titanic first, I want to see that too, then we'll watch Toy Story," Niall says.

"But I wanna-" Liam starts.

"We'll watch it later Liam," Harry tells him.

"Do you even have Titanic or Toy Story?" Louis asks.

"We have both of them, but she's never watched either," Rumor tells them, "AND JACK COULD'VE GOTTEN ON THAT DAMN DOOR!"

"There was no one on that ship called Jack," I say.

"How do you know that?" asks Louis.

"Don't ask me that. My Grandma was on the Titanic."

"Really?" asks Zayn, looking away from Rumor.

"Yep," I say, reaching to my neck to hold the locket that she gave to my mom. The funny thing is, it isn't just a locket. It contains the memories of my family. I can 'remember' the exact details of the Titanic and how it went down.

Rumor gets up, and pops in the disc, then sits down inbetween me and Zayn. Louis on the other side of me. "I'm squished," I say, "Rumor, move over."

She looks to the spot next to her, occupied by Zayn. "Then I would be on Zayn's lap," she declares.

"Exactly, and I wouldn't be squished."

"How about you sit on Louis?" she suggests. I push her, thinking she would fall on Zayn, but instead, she falls off the couch, grabbing Zayn's hand, pulling him off the couch with her. He rolls over, and pulls Rumor on top of him. "Oh. Hi!" I hear her say awkwardly.

I face the rest of the boys and say, "I meant to do that!" They all laugh as the movie starts to play. It's amazing they got all the details of the ship right.

Around halfway through the movie, I can't take it anymore. If I watch one more second I'm going to have to go into psychotherapy. I pop up, say, "who want's a snack?" and without waiting for an answer, run out of the room.

"What's that about?" I hear Louis ask.

"Just give her a minute, she'll be back," Rumor replies.

I run up to Rumor's kitchen, sit on one of the spinning bar stools, and cry my eyes out. After about five minutes, my phone rings. I don't answer it. Ten minutes later, I hear a knock on the door, then a hand on my shoulder.

"Jamie, You okay?" says a worried Louis.

"Y-yeah," I choke out then fling my arms around his neck, and cry 'till my tears run out.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"he asks, sitting me back down, and taking a seat himself.

"M-my family has this locket, the one I'm wearing now that we pass on from mother to daughter. No man has ever worn it. It catches memories and stores them for further generations to see," I say, looking up at Louis, trying to see if he looks confused, "and my grandma was on the the Titanic, she was in the water, and almost drowned. But she survived, so the memory and terror she had, I carry that with me today." I look at him, he looks confused.

"I'm not sure I follow you."

"Imagine having every memory you have, or had, in a locket for you, or your son, to flip through. To be able to look at your father's and granfather's thoughts." He nods. "Now imagine your granfather was on the Titanic and almost died." He nods again, eyes getting wider. "And you can look at the thought and see what he saw whenever you close your eyes. Would you be okay if you watched the movie Titanic?"

He shakes his head. "No, I wouldn't, but you said you wanted to see it."

"I was trying to overcome my fear."

Suddenly, I'm engulfed in a pair of arms. "Never do that again," he says.

"Do what?"

"Never scare yourself like that again," he says, and lets go of me, wiping a tear from my cheek, "that locket-"

"Oh, really, why don't you touch it and see for yourself?" I suggest.

"He touches the locket, which I've lifted off my chest, and gives a small 'oh!'

"Wha'd you see?" I ask.

"Her first glimpse of the Titanic, I believe you now," he says, as I let the locket fall back to my neck.

"Hey, guys, Titanic is over and we didn't want to start Toy Story without you," says Niall, coming into the kitchen. "You OK, Jamie?" he adds, seeing my red eyes.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," I say, grabbing a bowl of chips, handing them to Louis with a quick "don't eat these" then grabbing a pack of Oreos, and leading the boys downstairs.
