CELINE'S POV

"MAMA! I missed you so much." I scream.

"Baby girl! Hey, who's that?" Pointing at Xander's direction.

"He's Xander, mama."

"Hello, Mrs. Smith. I'm Xander, your daughter's suitor."

"Is that so?Hmm, take a seat"

"Thank you, madam. But, I'll have to leave soon."

"Oh, would you like to say goodbye to Celine?"

"Yes, madam. A very special goodbye."

"Xander, what's that?" I say with full confusion.

He pulled out a box from the pocket of his slacks and he came near me and he put a necklace at my neck.

"I love you." He whispers.

"Im afraid I can't respond the correct reply yet. All I can say for now is, thank you." I respond.

"I can wait, Cel. I will wait."

Mama went around me and saw the necklace.

"Thank you Xander, for the effort you are giving and about to give for my daughter. Somehow, I can see your kindness. I wish that would remain in you."

"Thanks, Xander. Once again." I say.

"You are welcome, Celine. Madam, thank you for what you've said. Yes, I'll try to remain this in me. If possible, Id improve. But, before I leave, are you allowing me to court your daughter?"

I look at Mama, and she became fierce looking.

"Hmm, of course! Ha, you guys were actually worrying about my face."

"Mama! You caught me." I say.

Xander laughed and hugged Mama and said " Thank you!"

He smiled at me and Mama, and Xander left the house.

"My little girl is now a lady!"

"Mama, I'm twenty! Little girl? Come on!" I say.

She hugged me.

"Don't expect me to be like the other mothers. I wouldn't give you any corny advices, I won't be over protective, but I'll be there to guide you. I need to let you go, somehow. Not fully."

I smiled at mama.

Then, after that she allowed me to sleep. So, I went to my room and held the necklace Xander gave me.

AAAHHHG, I can't believe that he likes me! I'm so happy too that my Mama allowed Xander to court me.

After a very heavenly day, I decided to sleep.

XANDER'S POV

I didn't expect that Celine's mom was there, GOD! I was so nervous.

Thank God I was able to meet a very good mother. She was as kind as Celine!

Okay, another blooper. I wasn't able to know her name, Ill just ask Celine tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning

Usually, I feel lazy when I wake up. But, ever since I met Celine, I feel I am meant to see her every sunlight. Especially now that I am taking the first step to our forever.

I went downstairs and kissed Mama goodbye.

I went to the bus terminal and waited for the next trip. But, something brightened up my day more, it was when I heard the tone of the beautiful Celine that said:

"Xander!"

"Good Morning, my love!"

"Xander, how clever of you to have met my Mama without asking her name!" She said sarcastically.

She's good! HAHAHA. She was able to find out the blooper.

"I'm sorry, Smarty. To make up to that, what is her name?"

"Her name's Setherina. But, my friends call her Aunt Rina."

"I'll still stick with the madam then."

"Silly you, Xander."

Then, suddenly the bus arrives. So, I let her in first. I was really flattered when she decided to sit beside me.

A morning with Celine? HEAVEN!

"Xander, were you able to eat breakfast?"

"Nope, I was kinda rushing to see you, heh." I confess.

"As I always say, silly you! Why don't we eat together?"

"Where?"

"McDonald's © near my office."

"Okay then."

As we arrived the destination, we went to the counter and bought food.

After ordering, Celine chose a seat for us. We we're located beside a group of men who wore gangster-like attires.

I observed when Celine past by them to take a seat, one of the men started standing and as if putting a cellphone under Celine's skirt. Because of shock, I screamed:

"HEY, YOU STOP THAT!"

"Xander, what's wrong?" Celine politely said.

"THAT MAN, WANTED TO PEEK UNDER YOUR SKIRT! YOU STOP THAT, PEOPLE ARE MEANT TO BE RESPECTED."

The whole restaurant seemed shocked about what they heard. Fortunately, the man had an intention to punch me, but the guard went undercover.

Then, Celine started to comfort me by telling me to sit down.

"Thank you Xander, for the big help." She smiled at me.

"It is a job of a man to protect his beloved. I am not doing this to impress you, I'm doing this to prove myself to you that I'm worth your sweet yes."

Yes, I love her. I can sacrifice everything for this woman. She makes me feel that I really should exist in this messy world, because I should be a part of fixing this.
