Annie's POV
My hair fell in front of my face making me grab my hair and put it in a ponytail.
Should've done it earlier.
Manny picked the lock and the lock snapped open.
"Tell me again why you can't use your powers?"I whispered and he looked through the files.
"Evidence could stay behind and it won't help when we want to leave everything like it was"Manny mumbled while throwing the file in and getting another one.
I looked out the window and saw nothing,this can't be good.
My eyes wondered around the dark room.
No cameras,nobody inside this big building,no guards.
This is the most insecure building I've seen.
It somehow seems familiar.
A rat ran across the room looking scared and a shadow appeared making me turn to look at Manny.
"Manny someone's coming"I whispered before pressing a button in the middle of my belt and a string popped out and attached to the ceiling.
Manny looked up,grabbed me and we both went up to the ceiling hanging by the string.
Manny silently cursed as he noticed that he left the used-to-be locked box open.
He handed me the files as he slowly and cautiously turned around to open one of the air vents.
The doorknob started jiggling making my heart race.
In a swift motion we started down the air vent and managed to get out.
"Why are you leaving so soon"Pitch said while appearing making my eyes widen.
Gerda's POV
The phone rang loudly making me walk towards it.
A lighting bolt passed by and a few seconds after the sound of thunder came making my heart jump.
"Moon's residence. What can I help with?"I said as sweetly as I could.
"Gerda!Please... not much time... don't let... out...Gerda p-"Miss Annie said but the phone got cut off making my heart race.
I know I heard gun shots,too many in fact.
"ELSA!!ANNA!!! COME HERE!!"I said panicking.
The first one to come down the stairs was Elsa.
"Gerda are you ok even Kai got scared"Elsa said while creating a soft breeze and letting me sit down.
Anna soon came wide eyed and made a what face.
"Your Mother called"I said trying to even out my heart race.
Elsa rubbed my back in a circular motion while Anna shook her head in disgust at Elsa.
"And"Anna said and Elsa looked at me upset but I smiled weakly and then couldn't help but started to sob a little.
"The phone got cut off,there was gunshots in the background..."
I didn't have to finish my sentence because they're faces showed that they understood what I was trying to say.
Anna started sobbing and ran down the hall while Elsa bit her lip until blood came out and she raced back to her room.
My eyes closed and I got up and went after Anna.
