Claude's P.O.V.

Claude sighed, death would have been better than having to put up with Alois again. As much as he would love nothing more than to kill him on the spot, he had to see how everything played out this time. He needed to see what would be different. Though Alois made it a bit hard, his child like personality constantly needing Claude's attention. He was certainly a pathetic human.

Alois: CLAAAAAAAAUDE!!! (Alois yelled for Claude)

Claude went up to his masters bedroom to see what was bothering him now. After the party had ended, he cleaned up and put Alois to bed. The party was another dreadful thing he had to sit through. Woman constantly staring at him, but had no intention of pursuing him because he was a mere butler. Not that he wanted to be pursued by such ugly woman, with the piles of make up and wigs to hide their hideously bald heads. They were all the same.

Claude had reached Alois's room and opened the door to turn on the light revealing a frightened Alois. Upon seeing Claude he rushed over to him seeking comfort from the nightmare he had. His tears staining Claude's pant leg that he held tightly. Claude grimaced at how pitiful he was.

Claude: It's alright your Highness. (He says not really sounding concerned)You had another nightmare but it's over now.

Alois: Thank you Claude, I don't know what I'd do without you. Please stay with me until I fall asleep again.

Claude did not indicate that he heard Alois's request but he did stay with him until he fell asleep a second time before placing him into bed. As a demon, Claude did not require sleep, so when Alois was resting he used the night to his advantage to do as he pleased. He went out of the manor, passing Hannah and the Triplets along the way. He wasn't going to a particular place but was wandering anywhere, away from the Trancy Manor. He used all of his hours of nighttime wisely, knowing he'd have to be back by morning before Alois noticed that he was gone.

Readers P.O.V.

That one precious hour of work was now over. You had packed up your things to prepare to go home as you and Mrs. Anne said your goodbyes.

You were home in five minutes as you do your daily routine all over again, taking off your shoes by the door, placing your umbrella in it's designated spot and went off to make dinner for yourself. When you finished eating you decided to past the rest of your time working in your small garden. You did not have the skill of gardening like you had the skill of sewing so you struggled when it came to plants. Even with this fact, you were still proud that you still created the small garden all on your own even if you only grew one or two plants. Flowers however were different. You always grew the easier ones, and they gave your garden such vibrant colors and even attracted butterflies. Though at time's you would see them meeting their end in spider webs, as sad as it seemed it was still nature's wish. The death of one thing only gives birth to something else, so it wasn't all that grim you think to yourself as you pulled some weeds.

You began to notice that it was getting dark as you went inside to clean up with a bath. You ran the hot water as you mixed it with the cold water to even out the temperature. When it was to your liking you dipped in.

You were in the bath for a while just thinking to yourself and the smell of peaches emitted from your shampoo and the scent of strawberries came from your soap. I had decided that it was time to get out of the tub as I drained the water and reach for a dry towel and another medium sized towel to dry my hair. I then walked into my bedroom to change into my thigh high, light pink night gown. Then I walked over to my mirror and sat down to brush my hair. Off to bed I went, even though apart of me was not tired.

Claude's P.O.V

Claude found it easier to travel by rooftop, passing the houses of those with better souls that he would have wanted to make a contract with. He had stopped in his tracks however, when he noticed that familiar but dreadful smell. It was Sebastian Michaelis, he didn't even want to think about his name as he pulled out his golden cutlery and threw it in the direction of the smell. Soon his actions were returned with silver cutlery being thrown back at him which he avoided. Sebastian then came out of the cover of darkness.

Sebastian: Faustus. (Sebastian says, with hate in his voice)

Claude: Michaelis. (Claude glares at Sebastian)

Sebastian: I'm not surprised I ran into you sooner or later, seeing as how you'd love nothing more than to get away from that brat Master of yours.

Claude: And you seem to have taken a break from yours to search for lady's of the night, who knew you could stoop so lowly.

Sebastian and Claude were now death glaring at each other before a thought came into Claude's mind. Obviously Sebastian remembers nothing, if he did he would have attacked Claude moments before, but all they were doing is having a stand off and Sebastian didn't seem as aggressive towards him as he did in the past.

Sebastian: Unfortunately I have more pressing matters to attend to for my young Master than entertaining the likes of you. The next time we meet, you will not be so fortunate.

Claude only scoffed at him. He'd get even with Michaelis another time but for now he too had something more important to do.

Moments after his little run in with Sebastian, he caught another strong scent, but this one was extremely different. It was officially original as he followed it to it's source. He could not deny that this was the scent of a pure soul through and through. Even Ciel's wasn't this strong....how fortunate of him to come across such an extremely rare find. This was definitely worth his time as he drew nearer to it. The scent took him towards a clearing that was fairly far away from the city. He knew London like he knew all spiders, yet he had never came across this place before.

He continued to follow a trail that led to a fairly small house. The source was coming from inside. Claude took caution, not knowing if the soul belonged to a being that would cause a problem for him. He turned into his spider form and crawled under the door and continued to follow the scent upstairs to the second floor of the house. He then took a right which led him to a bedroom. There, he saw a woman fast asleep. Indeed this was her soul. It matched her aura quit well. She had an innocent face with porcelain skin. She appeared radiant as her  long (Hair color) hair, draped down her bed sheets. How he wished that she was awake so he could see her eyes.

She had shifted her positions slightly in her sleep. Claude could not take his eyes off of her sleeping form. There was no doubt that she was special and indeed he would keep an eye on her.

As the morning approached, Claude wanted to observe the female further yet unfortunately had to go back to his duties as a butler as he made his way back to the Trancy manor.
