Again, I did not update yesterday, it was Mother's Day so I spent Sunday with my mom. We had a really great time, I bought her some new clothes and took her to eat out. I hope everyone else had a wonderful Mother's Day.

As weird as this sounds, it seems the baby had attracted a lot of attention and will bring more when it's actually out in the world. Recently Claude's little spider pals have been coming around a lot lately. Claude says, they're attracted to the baby and all the warmth were emitting together. At first  I thought this was a bad thing but they were actually just excited for Claude's first child. Being the spider demon and all, this was great news to them which is why they have been working endlessly, day by day using their precious silks and threads to spin our baby all sorts of wonderful things. It was a lovely thing for them to do. Now we had a few clothes ready for when the baby's born, like cute little socks, hats and much more.

They started at such a perfect time, with 5 weeks now gone, I only had 5 more to go. Claude, Alois and  I were having a picnic today by the cliff. He was trying to catch butterflies and Claude was in his spider form, designing a web with my name inside. As I watched them both and rest my hand on my giant tummy and it was only resting their for a moment before I felt a wonderful sensation. A kick. The baby was kicking. First once then twice then he started to kick harder not seeming to want to calm down.

(Y/N): Hey you two, the baby is kicking.

Claude and Alois both stopped what they were doing and rushed over to me.

Alois: Let me feel.

Alois placed his hand on my belly and the baby immediately kicked were his hand was with as much force as it's tiny legs could.

Alois: I don't blame you for wanting to get out of there. I'm ready to see you too.

Claude put his ear on my tummy after Alois and could hear his child moving actively inside me.

Claude: This is good, it's sign you'll give birth soon.

(Y/N): I hope  so, he might still be developing but his kicking really hurts.

After I said this the baby continued to kick even more and Claude could see it was making me uncomfortable. He put his ear to my belly again and stroked my hair.

Claude: There now little one, listen to your father and get some rest.

It was as if the baby actually obeyed Claude and soon enough his fleeting attack on your womb halted.

(Y/N): Thank you sweet heart.

Claude: Of course my butterfly.

Time skip....

The day had finally come. The last weeks of my pregnancy had came to an end. I could go into labor any second now and because of that, Alois and Claude were near me 24/7. Claude was anxious and nervous at the same time. In a matter of time, he'd be a father. Alois was also excited on worried for me and in time, he'd soon be an older brother.

There was no need for them to be on edge even though I was a little nervous myself but I was ready. All of this was worth it in the end and now I'll be birthing life of our very own with the title of a mother.

I really wanted my labor to start, and so did the baby, he was as restless as ever but I still felt fine after half a day passed. Now it was the waiting game as all three of us paced in our minds. Hours of waiting and I was getting tired and just as I got up from the couch to go to bed, I found my legs giving out on me and a wave of pain flush throughout my body and Claude had rushed to help me up. I felt something wet slip down my legs. My water had broke. The pain had intensified and I couldn't stand with all my strength. Claude picked me up and hurried to carry me to the bedroom. He placed me on the bed as I panted in pain. Claude and Alois were prepared and were already getting the things they needed to help me. Alois came back with a bucket of water and plenty of towels. Claude took them from him and Alois came around the side of the bed to hold my hand. Big mistake on his part, my contractions were very painful and I was squeezing Alois's hand very tightly. Though he didn't seem to mind.

Claude: (Y/N), it will be alright, I need you to breathe.

I did what he told me as he went to prop my legs open. Claude would basically help me with everything. We couldn't have a normal doctor birthing a demon baby.

Since this would be my first time, I didn't know if I needed to push just yet or not but I felt the need to and soon Claude agreed as he gave me the "Ok" to push. I pushed as hard as I could and Alois didn't like hearing me scream or the sight of the blood so he covered his ears and looked away most of the time. I was in labor for two hours and I felt weak. Something was wrong. Claude didn't want to worry me but I knew I was losing a lot of blood. His worst fears were flashing before him, he didn't want to lose me or the baby. He wanted us both to survive and so did I.

With what little strength and voice I had left. I sent Alois out of the room.

(Y/N): Alois, I need you to leave.

Alois: But mother!

(Y/N): please.....

Alois was scared to leave us, he didn't know if he'd ever see me alive again but he obeyed my request and waited outside.

Claude: (Y/N)...

(Y/N): I know I won't survive.... and if I don't give birth soon, the baby will die too.

Claude didn't believe that he would lose his wife. She didn't even get a chance to see her baby. He loved their child but he didn't want to raise it without it's mother.

(Y/N) glanced at the marking on her left hand. It began to glow.

(Y/N): Claude!?

Claude took his hand in mine.

Claude: Yes, my love.

(Y/N): Remember when you told me that you'd have to take Alois's soul one day and I was really sad about it.

Claude nodded.

(Y/N): You just need a soul right? You can take mine.

Claude was offended that you'd even consider such an outrageous idea, if he took your soul then you'd be lost for sure.

Claude: I cannot do such a thing, you are my wife.

(Y/N): But it's the only way, if you take my soul, Alois can still live and so will the baby.

Claude wasn't convinced.

(Y/N): And so will I because after, you can turn me into a demon. You told me before that you can change people into one of you, I won't need a soul to live.

This was true but at the same time if Claude did this, he'd miss all your imperfections and all your human attributes.

(Y/N): Claude please? You don't have a choice, you have to do it now, it's the only way we can all live.....

Claude, stood silently for a moment, but as much as he hated the idea, he didn't have a choice, and he'd promised he'd always be there for (Y/N), she was his wife and as a husband he will not lose his love. With his mind now set, Claude begins to slip off his gloves, his eyes turn fuscia and he shows his mark before uttering some words that (Y/N) couldn't understand.

Claude: Hoheo Taralna, Rondero Tarel....

These were the last words (Y/N) heard before she closed her eyes and darkness surrounded her....
