"Raise a glass" I yelled.

"A glass!" Laffayette, Mulligans, and Laurens cried back.

"To freedom!"

"To freedom!" They cried back again.

There he was. John Laurens. He was strapped in a very tight suit and he looked good in it. Draped in a brown coat, he looked... hot? No... No... I'm straight. Am I? Yes! I am straight.

We took a sip from our glasses of alcohol.

"So, your name is Alexander Hamon?" Mulligans asked.

"Hamilton. Yes."

"And where did you come from?" Laffayette said.

"The Caribbean."

"Why?"

"A hurricane destroyed my town. My mother died. It was hell. But I wrote my way out. Strangers, who I've never seen in my life, looked up to me and did everything they did to book passage on a ship New York bound. Now here I am. Why is Aaron Burr such a dose? He told me to smile more. Talk less. I thought he was some hero to the people. He's a fraud."

"Aaron Burr?" Laurens continued. "No one knows what his deal is. We just let it go."

I laughed. "Let it go? Not on my watch."

"Whats next for us?" Mulligans asked.

"War." I responded.

"Then?"

"Resolving our financial problems."

"After?"

"Death."

"Well, thats deep." Lafayette told with his perky french accent.

All of them nodded, than Laurens broke the silence. "Best be off now."

All accept I agreed.

Mulligans and Laffayette left leaving only me with Laurens. It was silent.

"John Laurens, right?"

He nodded.

"I like your passion."

"For what? He asked.

"Everything."

I could see him blush a little. I struggled from doing so myself.

"Well," I said, "these letters aren't going to write themselves."

"Yeah." He was dazed.

I was getting hot. "I'll see you around."

"Defiantly..." Still dazed.

I left the bar, blushing.
