First date (request for Lukeybabe68)

Luke's POV:

I'm so nervous, today is a very special day because I'm going on a date with Merinda, she's so gorgeous and her eyes are so dreamy. I've got the whole date planned, a lovely meal and then a late night walk on the beach it's going to be perfect, I hope. I had a few ideas in mind for the date but none of them sounded as good as this one.

I sorted myself out, I was wearing a suit and my hair was perfect. The date was at 8 but it's only 7:15 so it's give Merinda more time to get ready, hopefully she's not as nervous as I am.

Merinda's POV:

"C'min where are they" I spoke to myself searching through my wardrobe trying to find my favourite heels to match my black dress which I adore so much. Once I had finally found them I slipped them on and brushed my hair, the time was currently 7:19 and Luke should be here soon. I grabbed my phone and text him telling him I was ready and a few minutes later I heard a knock at the door.

"Wow Merinda you look.. Gorgeous" He smiled and I could feel my cheeks heat up.

"You don't look too bad yourself" I returned the compliment and he grinned at me before walking to the car opening the passenger side for me, I let out a small giggle as he tried so hard to be a gentlemen.

"so where are we going?" I asked after a few minutes of silence, it wasn't awkward though since we had little mix playing in the background. I saw a smirk appear on his face and I already knew he wasn't going to tell me even though I hate surprises.

"It's a secret" He smirked and I sighed and folded my arms making him laugh and throw his head back before concentrating on the road again, it took about another 3 minutes to get to our destination.

I was gobsmacked as I looked out the window and saw a beautiful restaurant but it looked so expensive, I was afraid he was going to spend so much on me and I really don't want that.

"Luke.. It looks so expensive, please don't spend your money on me" I whispered but he shook his head.

"I didn't want to just order pizza, I wanted to do something special" He kissed my cheek and I blushed again.

He held the door open for me even though he wasn't it seemed like he was trying to be a try hard. But it's cute though. "This place is beautiful" I spoke examining the restaurant.

About half an hour after our meal Luke had paid the bill which was nearly £40 because we had dessert and drinks, honestly it was amazing, the food was incredible.

"C'mon we haven't finished yet" Luke grinned grabbing my hand as we said thank you to the waiter and walked outside, I never really noticed the beach because we weren't sat near the window but there was a breathtaking beach in front of us and the moon was shining on the sea, honestly this was like a dream.

"Wanna go for a walk?" He asked waiting for an answer, he had repeated himself because I never heard him the first time.

"I'd love to" I took my shoes off because the heels were killing my feet already and you don't really want to wear heels on a beach. We walked around the beach for awhile talking about the future and the boys. He dropped me off home at about 12am.

"This date was amazing Luke! Thank you so much for making it so perfect!" I gushed and his cheeks were a light shade of pink.

"My pleasure Merinda, we should do this again sometime" He smiled and I nodded my head before kissing his cheek and saying goodnight and walking upstairs to get ready for bed after an amazing night, I never thought I'd go on a date with Luke Hemmings.
