He can't sleep

Luke's POV:

2:48am and I still can't sleep. I've been having these dreams lately about Y/n and they've been keeping me up all night. I looked over to see my beautiful girlfriend sleeping soundly so I carefully got out of bed and walked downstairs into the kitchen to make myself a drink and then walked outside into the garden, it was a little chilly but really relaxing too.

All these thoughts were going through my mind about if she was going to leave me or if Y/n hated me and it was starting to make me feel sick. I wanna tell her about my dreams but she's just gonna laugh and think I'm stupid, it sounds stupid.

I finished my drink and just sat looking at the sky for awhile before I heard the door open, I turned around to see Y/n stood with a lazy smile on her face and her hair was in a mess but honestly she is the definition of perfect no matter how she looks.

"Luke what you doing?" She croaked, I watched her lean again the door frame with a tired look in her eye. "It's 3am" I nodded my head and pulled her into a hug.

"I couldn't sleep" I gave a small smile and she held my hand.

"What's going on Luke you're barely ever sleeping" I could hear the concern and curiosity in Y/n's voice. I shook my head as if it was nothing because honestly it really isn't important.

"It doesn't matter" I smiled at her. Normally we tell each other what's wrong and clearly by the look in her eyes she wants me to tell her. I spent an hour explaining everything tears threatening to spill so she sat in my lap hugging me so tight as if she was trying to kill me.

"It's okay Luke, none of that is going to happen to me okay? Now come on you need your sleep and so do I" I laughed when Y/n finished, I picked her up carrying her upstairs, I gently slid into bed wrapping my arms around Y/n before whispering an 'I love you'

It took me awhile to fall asleep but thankfully I managed thanks to my angel.
