He's the boy with the vacant look in his eyes,
He's the boy who wants nothing more than to die,
He's the boy whose wishes will soon let him fly,
and no one'll see it coming because he's a guy.
He's also the boy who got blamed for his girlfriend's death,
And his skinniness blamed on crystal meth,
Nobody guessed he was mentally messed up,
No one noticed when he just drank water in a cup.
Just because society doesn't believe in anorexic guys,
Just because no one understands that sometimes guys also want to die.
Guys get depression, eating disorders, hate life,
And yet they're blamed for all of girls' strifes?
When do guys ever get a break?
When does anyone question guys' constant aches?
They don't.
And they won't
Because you don't understand,
why guys sometimes have purging scars on their hands.
Boys get mentally messed up in the head,
Boys sometimes struggle to get out of bed,
Boys sometimes also hate living this life,
Why won't you try to understand their strife?
