Ask Penny and Talon!

The Date

Kayla: "Hey Pen!"

Penny: "Hi Kayla, so why did you tell me to meet you at your house today?"

Kayla: "Well.. I have a dare for you"

Penny: *sighs*

Kayla: "I dare you to go on  a date with one of my best friends" *smiles*

Penny: "A date?!! Oh no no no.." *stops and thinks for a sec*  "wait, i thought i was your best friend? and why haven't you mentioned him before if you guys are such good friends?"

Kayla: "Ok, i said ONE of my best friends, and you never met him because.. well, i guess the subject just never came up.."

Penny: "Ok.. but a date?!"

Kayla: *smiles* "Come on Penny, i'll help you get ready"

Penny: *sighs in defeat*

Kayla: *starts to walk into the next room*

Penny: "Wait! What's this guys name?"

Kayla: *smiles* "Josh, his name is Josh"

*30 min later*

Penny: *walks out of Kayla's bedroom with her face red*

Kayla: "Oh my goodness Penny! You. Look. Amazing."

Penny: "No.. i look ridiculous.." *is wearing a cute red and white dress that goes just below her knees and her hair down*

Kayla: "Penny, you look amazing in that dress, you don't look ridiculous"

Penny: *feels acward* "is their anyway of getting out of this dare?"

Kayla:  *smiles* "Nope"

*10 min later*

Penny: *arrives at  a restaurant with Kayla* 

Kayla: "Come on Pen, just try to have a good time"

Penny: "Kayla.. i was dared to go on a date and i haven't even met the guy.. ya, i'll have tons of fun" *is being sarcastic*

Kayla: *a teenage boy walks up* "There he is Penny, have a good time" *smiles, waves at the boy and walks out of the restaurant before Penny can say anything to her*

Penny: *feels really acward*

Josh: "Hey, i'm Josh. Your Penny right?" *thinks 'Wow! Penny looks.. great!'*

Penny: *blushes just slightly* "Yea" *thinks 'really Penny, that's all you can come up with?'*

Josh: *is slightly taller than Penny, has  blackish brown hair and is wearing jeans and a nice shirt*

Penny: *just stands there*

Josh: "Well, come on. Let's go get a table"

Penny: *follows Josh*

*5 min later*

Emily: "Hello, My name is Emily. I will be your waitress. Your table is over here" *smiles and motions for them to follow her*

Penny: *walks over to the table with Josh and the waitress with blond hair and blue eyes*

Josh: *sits down*

Emily: "Here are your menus" *the menus fall out of her hand and she looks embarrassed and picks them up* "Here you go.. I'll be back soon, so you can order" *walks over to help the next table*

Penny: "So Josh.. what do you like to do?" *doesn't really want to be here, but tries to make conversation*

Josh: *tries to come up something and says the first thing that pops into his mind* "Well, i work with computers and train dolphins" *thinks 'dolphins?!.. really? That's the best i can come up with?'*

Penny: *looks confused* "Ok.."

Josh: *tries to change the subject* "So, what do you want to order Penny?"

Penny: *looks at the menu* "I think i'll have.. the pasta"

Josh: "That sounds good, i'll have that too"

Penny: "Ok" *fake smiles, and starts to wish that she was on a date with Talon instead"

Emily: *walks back to their table* "Are you guys ready to order yet? or do you um.. need more time?" *smiles*

Josh: "Yes we are, we would both like the pasta"

Penny: *adds in* "Please"

Emily: "Sure! I'll bring that out as soon as.. it's ready" *as she walks away she accidentally bumps into someone's  table, then smiles nervously and walks away*

Penny: "So Josh, you train dolphins.. that sounds.. interesting"

Josh: "Yep.." *thinks 'why did i have to say that.. i don't know a thing about dolphins!'*

*10 min later*

Josh: *is trying to get off the subject of dolphins*

Emily: *bring them their food* "Here's your pasta!" *hands them each a plate of pasta and accidentally spills some on Josh* "Uh.. sorry about that.. um." *blushes awkwardly and walks off*

Penny: "Um.. you might want to go clean up" 

Josh: "Yea, i'll be back in a min" *walks to the restroom to get cleaned up*

*10 min later*

Penny: "Why isn't Josh back yet.. I'd better go check on him" *walks to the restroom* 

Josh: *is in the restroom, putting on hair gel in front of the mirror*

Penny: *smells something* "Wait.. is that Talon's hair gel?.." *walks into the bathroom and sees him putting it on* 

Josh: *Doesn't notice her*

Penny: *thinks 'i only know one person who wears that hair gel!'* 

Josh: *is finishing up his hair*

Penny: *Uses her codex to make a floating screen thing and throws it at Josh*

Josh: "What?" *it hacks into his holo disguise and reveals his real identity*

Penny: "Talon?!!" 

Josh/Talon: *laughs nervously* "Hey Penny"

Penny: *eyes narrow*

Talon: "Well.. it was a dare.. and so was this. Sorry Pen"

Penny: "Huh?"

Talon: *grabs a bucket from under the sink and dumps ice water on Penny*

Penny: *gasps* "You.. You.." *gets mad and is shivering*

Talon: *eyes get wide and he immediately feels bad*

*15 min later*

Penny: *is at home with a cold from the ice water and is sitting on the couch with Talon*

Talon: "I still feel bad about dumping that on you.."

Penny: "you should.." *shivers*

Talon: *sighs and wraps his arm about her*

Penny: *blushes, but lets him cause she's freezing*
