Ever since the Policeman's ball a month ago, I've kept a small headache that hasn't left. I wonder who his captain is and how did he get such a response out of me? I hold off as long as I can, then I take a couple of ibuprofen. I keep asking Agents Holmes and Yard about him, but they don't have an answer for me yet.

Today is my day off and Samson has to work. My plan is to stay at home in bed and sleep until tomorrow. I decide to call Mrs. Mayfield to see how she is doing. "Good morning sweetie!" She greets cheerily, "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing great! How are you?" I answer as cheerful as I can. "I'm doing great! Sitting here on the beach enjoying the sand and the waves! If I had known that I would like it this much, I would have talked you into moving here with me a long time ago!" I giggle. I love that she sounds so happy and healthy. "I'm glad that you like it there, because if you didn't, I would have come and gotten you." I tell her.

I hear her laughing over the line, "I believe that you would have. So how's Samson?"

"He's good." I respond. "Are you two a couple yet?" She persists. She asks me that at least once a week. "No, we're not. He's not ready." I tell her. "Are you?" she asks.

"I've actually been thinking about that lately. I spoke with my therapist and she told me to start living like I'm not going to get my memory back. She told me to make new memories. I would like to wait for Samson, but I don't know if I want to wait that long. I think I'm ready to start dating again." I confess.

"Don't wait for him. You have to do what's best for you right now. If he's not ready then you have to move forward without him. Go out on a couple of dates. Test the waters and see how you like it. You never know, you may fall in love." She states. I nod, thinking about what she just told me. "I'll do it and see how it goes." I tell her. "That's really good sweetie! Let me know how it goes."

She goes on to tell me about her days and dinner with Tyson and Akemi. By the end of the call, she has me laughing so hard, my headache has gone away.

I lay down on the couch ready to take a nap, when there's a knock on the door. I look in the peephole and see Melanie, Rose and Brianne on the other side. I open the door letting them inside. "We have decided to have a spa day and you're coming with us." Mel announces. Rose nods in agreement and Brianne just stands there looking at anywhere but me. "I was just going to take a nap." I tell them.

Rose shakes her head, "Nope. You need a day of complete relaxation and we're here to give it to you. We are going to get massages and mani-pedi's! Kyle is a rep for a chain of salons, so he was able to get us all passes for this. It won't cost us a thing!"

"Okay." I agree. When will I get a chance to get a massage and a mani-pedi again. I get my things and follow them out to the car. "Shotgun!" Brianne calls. "I'm driving so Carmen gets to ride in the front with me." Mel shoots her down. Brianne gives me a dirty look. "If you can't at least try to be nice, we will drop you at home." Rose warns her. "I don't understand why I can't have the front seat, Chloe always had the front seat!" Brianne whines.

"I don't mind sitting in the back seat." I volunteer to keep the peace. "No. Rose and I want you to sit in the front seat, and that's where you will sit," Mel turns to Brianne, "Get over yourself. If you get to know her, you will find out how different she and Chloe are and you might actually like her. Now are you going to make the effort, or are we dropping you off at home right now?"

"I'll sit in the back seat." Brianne concedes. We reach the car and Mel says, "Now let the relaxing commence!" When we reach the spa, we are broken off into groups of two. Rose and I are in one room and Brianne and Mel are in another group. When we walk inside of our room, Rose says, "I won the toss, that's why I got you."
